you can cast death frenzy for free in the enemy hero phase as the prayer is any hero phase. so vizik basicly can pray once for free in each enemy hero phase allowing him to easily build up prayer points for your own turn leaving you a cp to use on either a second prayer cast, or on a wizzard etc.
@@JebodiahJunfan Yep. Vizzik is grossly over costed as it is. He either needs a 100 pt reduction or a 4+ Save and 4+ Ward. His abilities wanting him to be in combat while at the same time making him terrible in combat is one of GW's cruelest jokes.
Think a lot of this game is summed up by the "5+ ward for you is like 50% of the time comment" vs poor Ratties not making charges. Still brilliant seeing it go to turn 5. Also probably the first battle rep I've watched where the Brood-Terror doesn't instantly die (although it was intentionally left alone turn 1 haha). Great video as always guys! Looking forward to finally trying Vizzik out myself next weekend (actually against Nurgle too).

Visik does not need to use Magical intervention. He can use his prayer in every turn. He can use magical intervention to pray twice in the opponents turn. Ypu jist need to do DF first, bank those, then pray a different prayer and if you get the buffer effect spend all your ritual points to have it go off.
Bit disappointed you got the rules wrong on the Skaven units. 1 Vizzik can do his praying in the opponent turn, 2 his prayer is only for Skaven infantry and 3 the warpcog convocation only gets the bonus in the shooting phase so not 2s to wound on the doomflayers…
The d6 heal from the command trait if in combat with a diseased unit, and then if he's damaged he can do the d3 on a 2+ to up to 3 units in combat range with him. I'm sure he just got mixed up when talking out the rules.
I just noticed that too. That's his main cool thing. That technically Vizzik can pray twice in the opponents turn. I like this channel, but I don't think he knows Skaven very well to showcase it. I've been using Vizzik in all my games lately, and he can really surprise the opponent. For instance, if you have 40 Clanrats in one unit, and put them behind a screen and move them right up to charge, Vissik can almost always get crit mortals on them if planned correctly. And feed them a Skavenbrew from a Greyseer lingering behind. Then you get 120 attacks with crit mortals. SO I think it is more effective to have 40 + 20 clanrats, rather then 20 20 20. Use something else for battle tactics. Guns hit hard ... The Skyre ability doesn't work on the Flayers, ,maybe it's better to split it up to 1 unit of flayers and 1 unit of Night Runners, that is far more mobile than the Clanrats, and let the 40 Clanrats and the guns deal the damage.
Oh i see what you are saying. that prayer says any hero phase, so you dont need to spend the CP to chant in the oppos turn. THat is very helpful. I like the idea of using him beind a big block of clan rats like you suggest thats very intresting

You really need to utilize Filth-crust for the mortals with any list that includes Vizzik, that's really the only way to punch through armor. You saw yourself that you can roll 50+ attacks with the guns, and they just bounce off armor. (but try to remember your Battle trait each turn). Trust me, an enemy really doesn't expect clanrats to be that good. He would have waltzed the Great Unclean one right up to them. Then poof - Crit Mortals and + 1 attacks. It is more useful then Death Frenzy. But actually, I bring The Plague Pack along with my army. They have a reroll too. The Plague Pack has two main uses, you can use Biletorrent with them on large units.. or they can give the Crit mortals. Every game, I can get 40 Clanrats with Crit Mortals and Death Frenzy, +1 attacks from Skavenbrew, and Warpgale with my Grey Seer to give the enemy strike last. Normally I don't need to go so heavy .. but also 40 Clanrats can stretch and hit multiple units. In practice, I assure you this works very well.

What happened to the audio? I was excited for this game, but the audio is so low quality I cannot watch. I hope ya'll figure out what the issue is.

we found there was a sub option "effect" that was selected on after an update, it has been corrected for future videos

u rolled a 13 with the Grey Seer Warpstone ability, u should have taken d3 mortal damage but your cast are going throu no matter what

Death Frenzy can only be cast on Skaven Infantry. The Skryre buff is shooting only. You only bring Gnawholes on in your hero phase.
Placing Gnawholes is a start of battle round ability isn't it?

Clan skyre only effects shooting units. Not that it really effected the out come but something to look out for

Also wyldwoods stop targetting for shooting, not just -1 to hit. -1 to hit is if you're in combat in the woods
New to maggotkin, where in the rules does it say the GUO can do D6 damage to diseases units?
Think they meant heal with Grandfathers Blessing heroic trait. "If this unit is in combat with a Diseased enemy unit, Heal (D6) this unit."
