It makes me learn more about how things can go. One thing I noticed: In the first Battleround the VP & CP shown were wrong, weren't they?
Another instant classic! I really appreciate how creative the team gets with listbuilding; especially with the Stormcast Eternals. I understand not everyone has the ability or desire to create a deep bench for the army, but my favorite thing about my favorite army is their depth of warscrolls and all the little tricks and combos that have yet to be unlocked. Kudos on piloting a list without dragons or longstrikes! Hopefully there might be some Stormstrike Palladors on the horizon? I haven't brought mine to the field yet, but being able to reroll their own charges (which also gives them Fights First) seems like they'd make for a real Counter Charge threat.
Stormstrike are built and will be painted shortly. The models are amazing so i am still going to give them a shot.I think this version of stormcast with blocks of heavy infantry might be my favorite way to play stormcast. And the Mounted lord is legit good and constantly gets overlooked

Not only did i miss it when i played, but i missed it in editing and again during review of the premiere. Always finding new and interesting ways to make mistakes
@@BattleshockWargaming happens.. maybe write them down when you pick them? it would be interesting to have them on screen in the video too, i find myself often going back to the beginning of the turn to check what the BT was..
fun fact if you cast the strike first on the reclusians and double activate it makes the second activation happens right after the strike first one, so you can effectively attack twice before the opponent ever has a chance to replicate. That's how DoK plays right now in competitive and is something that can work for us too in this setup with stormcovens and lord vigilant :). Nice report, fun game and you guys share a very positive energy playing together, keep up the good work!
I get what you are saying fights first + strikes last = strikes normal . I havent thought about that rules interaction before and how it might impact Stormcast. that is intresting
@@BattleshockWargaming yup exactly, the rule specifies that if a unit with the strike last get affected by strike first they don't strike first but get to attack during the normal activation phase. it's a bit unpredictable because stormcoven doesn't have access to bonus to cast but it's a fun one, can also be applied to prosecutors
It was very broken when I ran 4 units of Blood Sisters and 2 Ironscale a the 5 Alarm GT. Deleted reinforced Chosen and Varanguard the same turn before he got to hit back.
The dark purple is all paints from pro acryle. I start with a blue black. and then wash with a violet. and then i dry brush purple, plum, magenta and then pink. Ive done this same one a few times and it always ends up nice and vibrant on the table
I got so confused for a sec. This is not the new Slaves to Darkness battletome… because you dropped this report when everyone else is dropping their new StD reports, I was wondering why all the units have marks as that was one of the major changes in the army’s rules.
You could basically do this same list just swap the lord and priest for ionus and then the points would wash out to be about the same. But that that point i would swap out the annialators for another big block or reclusions. that would probably slap
What About instead of another block of reclusian put iridan? I hate crossbow guys and somehow ı'm obsessed with ionus idk he does well with iridan but ı like your idea. Mind ıf ı ask why u didnt pick Lord terminos to protect reclusians?@@BattleshockWargaming
@@TheDeathbrlnger Lord Terminous was in the list at first but i wanted to use the mounted lord cause he was painted and has never been on the table. Sometimes you got to do whats fun, Like trying our Iridan
-1 to wound over the fights last because Mostly because first time playing with Stormcoven and forgot that they had access to the fight last. Didnt use brace for impact because the shield annihilators never got charged. They spent the game sprinting across the battlefield
Those paint jobs on those models are so incredible!!! I especially love the way the SCE weapons look!!!!!!

Strike first is only if they get charged.. not sure about the magic, maybe it is easier to cast?

I avoid putting SCE priests in my lists. They just don't DO anything.
Especially now we have a sub translocate that isn't a roll

@@kchazeIonus is fine since you can easily get a bless weapons off. He even has the ability to get greater bless weapon off on round 2 rather than 3-4
