What is the weight difference between the two motors. Same amount of cylinders?
~67 lbs heavier. Both are 6 cylinder
Did Yamaha resolve the flywheel issue with the 350's?
It’s a completely different engine. 6 cylinder, 4.3 liter. We’re gonna put them to the test and find out
How much are one of those engines?
The new ones and old ones
Currently asking $38,000 per pair (2 engines) for the 300 hp used ones. The New 350’s retail around ~$35,000 a piece.
What was to prop pitch change?
We kept the 16x22’s on it.
At how many hours do you prefer to swap engines out? I 'm thinking you resell your old engines while they still have some good life left on them??
Ideally before 1000 hours because they are worth more, but this set was 1392 hours. Two years of warranty left which is worth something as well
