That's awesome dude! It's so easy to have a negative outlook on life. Problems will just keep throwing themselves at you, but if you look at those challenges as character building trials, every hardship becomes an adventure.
It astonishes me that I can listen to Jordon and his guests for an hour and a half and it goes faster than watching a movie. And I don't feel like I just wasted my time.

I fully agree. All of his interviews are like an invitation to listen to intelligent, well formulated and well informed individuals discussing something, trying to reach and understand truth itself. And we are better for it. Like attending a university lecture, the way they should be.

Being woke is a set of ideals. A mindset. An attitude. For example critical race theory, LGBTQ, radical feminism, defund the police, outrage culture, cancel culture, victim culture. You either share in those ideals and have that mindset or you don’t there’s no such thing as sounding woke to the woke and saying such just makes you sound dumb.
Dr.Peterson, I’m a 77 y / o woman who is an immigrant and had childhood trauma as a 5 y/sI thank you for your help in examining my life by writing my history. I was shocked and surprised at the grief that was released. This has resulted in a release of anxiety, a happier more productive person. Many thanks. I have sons and agree with you that present society attacks young males. Please continue to stand up to the abusers in the world.

Konstantin, what impresses me is how you were so cool and eloquent in responding to JP. You're a fantastic example of being born with great potential, developing them to the best of your abilities, and wanting to improve the crazy world we live in. I'm 74 and I just don't recognize what I see in the world today. People like you, Lex Fridman, JP, Douglas Murray, etc. make me feel like I'm not crazy and not alone in the world. We each need to carry responsibility for improving the world each in our own way, even just a little every day.
@1 2 That's my estimation as well. Smart Phones, specifically. I'm 36. And saw the dynamic shift in that college age that now floods the work force.

Simply just by watching the way you behave and speak. You are a lightning rod. A true national treasure. You can explain things clearly and so specifically. Every time you speak I learn. One reason this is so captivating to listen to is that both of them are listening to each other. They are thoughtfully considering what the other is saying and responding to it directly. So much of what we have been made to listen to is talking points and combativeness. What a refreshing conversation here. They even remembered previous points made by the other person and found ways to give them credit and build upon commonalities. Cohesive and so good!

Thank you Jordan for everything you do. I have followed you for many years from the atheistic or gnostic days until now. I found my faith in the Catholic faith through my wife a couple of years ago and many things make sense. 6 months ago a was diagnosed with terminal cancer 42 years old. I recieved palliativ treatment to extent my life. What then happened was that many people and my wife prayed for me a lot and after five months in x-rays the cancer went back to the extend that the doctors do not see any metastasis anymore. I hope in God this will continue and that I can recover. Still many challenges but everything is in tha hands of the Lord. I only want to encourage you to continue what you do and you a are a great person with a brilliant mind. Keep cuestion everything and put your hope in Jesus! Hugs from Sweden

I think another reason KK's speech was a big hit was because of the high level of passion, verging on anger, in the speech. People respond to compelling speeches where the speaker really means it and really feels it.

Anger with no uniting reason on display makes u affraid of the individual so yes it was dilivered with a force behind it but the argument also resonated with everyones intuition
This effect is amplified because most leftists don't actually believe their nonsense. It's just a way to challenge the status quo and not actually of any personal meaning beyond that. When you are a parent, you suddenly have a lot more skin in the game.

In my opinion a philosopher who does not have a string of ethics and principles on which he bases his search for truth is not a philosopher, but a sophist.

I thought the same thing. Jordan tends to ramble, though not unproductively and Konstantin was able to pick out the main points and address them. Actually listening is really an underappreciated skill.
I think most sane adults would find it easy to listen to Jordan Peterson- but Konstantin is a well experienced host on his own shows - apologies the show he shares with his friend

"I'm agnostic, I have no idea what's going on." I felt that statement loud and clear.
What we are seeing is basically proof that Jesus was right. If you are trying to find the evidence of God somewhere out there in the ethos, you are going to be spending a long time failing to see the proof, every time you blink in amazement, trying to rationalize the stars. (because the proof is written on the insides of your eyelids)
The greatest evidence of God is the reality that there is no such thing as atheism, because you either have to believe in an almighty God that exists outsides the boundaries of our Universe, believe the Universe has all the properties of being worshipped as a God in it's own right, or you believe in the God of the Unknown. Which all instantly reduce down to the same thing, because if you worship nature, you are essentially worshiping yourself, but you don't attribute the right creator.
This is what a Satanist believes, and these people are all buying into it. That you shouldn't worship God by loving your neighbor, that you should worship God by loving only yourself, but how can the latter statement be truth and not suffer from the most alarming paradoxical self contradiction ever conceived by Adam?
The most sanitized explanation is that we have been in a never ending holy war since the beginning, trying to proselytize each other to our own shitty religions. When you study to become an entrepreneur, one of the first things you learn makes a great founder is the capability to build a cohesive culture that forms a cult of personality around yourself. This is why companies like Twitter and Apple rise to the top with ease. They are essentially megachurches but instead of their product being feeding the poor, their product is entertaining the rich. Both Jack Dorsey and Steve Jobs spent a long time studying religious philosophy and they stole the ideas that they knew were the only ideas that have ever influenced people to the scale their grandiose, visions required.
I am just saying people on the left don't understand that we all serve a master. They just prefer to serve a master they can touch and speak directly too. Which is funny to me as a Christian, because we essentially believe that too. It's something that makes Christianity exclusively special and stand out when compared to all the other religions of the world. That Jesus essentially ripped off every single religion that existed under the sun to outline his view of the only truth that could possibly exist. That we are apparently the only proof of God we're going to get. (or really, mostly not get)
As a Christian, I pray for you, but religiosity aside, I also found that statement to be hilarious in its honesty. There are a lot of Christians who simply take the name and should admit the same and actually delve into their belief.

I love hearing what JBP has to say and I have to hope that Konstantin does too. This wasn't an interview, it was us all listening to an impromptu lecture from the Prof., which is slightly a shame. 🤷🏻♂️
Truly enlightening conversation. Looking forward to JP’s next book. Because I too wrestle with God. He really challenges my personal beliefs and that’s what I love so much about him. I could listen to him challenge people’s personal beliefs all day long.

Jordan is one of the people I credit with saving my life. If you're reading this and you're in that bad place.. i know how you feel. You must make amends and forgive or at least accept. Maybe worth testing your idea. Different groups of people need different types and styles of messenger.
I started watching Triggernometry in the depths of the pandemic, and first heard of JP through his interview Order and Chaos in 2021 on their show. Their collective ideas and interviewees have really changed my perspective on life for the better, and it's so exciting to see KK's journey come full circle so that he's now a guest on this show.

Traveling this week for work, so this is perfect to break up in 3 segments for me while traveling. I love listening to Jordan while driving.👍
I'll tell you when this all started. It started with Barack Hussein Obama. And he doused it with gasoline when he decreed an Exective Order saying men could go into women's locker rooms and bathrooms.

This was one of the most interesting podcasts that I have had the privilege to watch and listen to.
One of the most interesting things that came up was Dr Peterson's dip into the cosmos and the collective unconscious. It resonated with me was because according to Indian Yogic culture ( and I am paraphrasing Sadhguru here) while our bodies and minds belong to us it is not us. What is us is the cosmic breath that we inhale and exhale which gives us life. When we stop inhaling this cosmic breath, our bodies and minds cease to exist, but the cosmic breath is still part of the cosmos. At least that's my understanding of life, religion and especially spirituality.
I am 72 and looking back, I don’t know how I would have gotten through life without the strength I found in God. Faith made my life so much easier even though I had some really tough times in my younger years. After my first divorce I said to God; why me? Some time later I was able to say- I get it and thank God because se life got so much better. Since that time I have learned to trust in God and things will turn out just fine.

Going to the poorest area of India changed me 20 years ago. Once you have to live in an environment that does not have all the creature comforts of the West, especially universal sanitation, you really gain an enhanced level of appreciation when you get home.
I'm sure one of those is namely that you actually could go home.
Yet when the well to do and “privileged” look for ashrams in India (“Eat Pray Love”), I wonder why they did do see similar in their own land: pain, suffering, hunger in the cities and towns of our developed society (the West)?

When I was Mr. Kisin's age I thought like he did. Now a few years older I have a much deeper faith and understanding of faith (and deep appreciation of the wisdom and beauty of the biblical writings). Mr. Peterson handles this conversation very gently and wisely.
I also once felt like KK, until I realised that intuition inside me was actually the Holy Spirit.

I’ll say it. Jordan Peterson is a godly man. A Godsend to this world of madness.
Many people have noticed indirectly but I'll say it a little diffefently. Why JBP podcasts are intefesting is because he is not only 'interviewing' people but is actually actively engaging in a meaningful CONVERSATION.

I am so grateful for you and your wife. My husband is the one who exposed me to you, I suppose its been about 6 years now, and I've been following you ever since. Thank you for saving so many lives and marriages with your work. You practiced and taught for decades before God plucked you out and thrust you into the limelight. Thank you for being a diligent servant and being obedient to His speaking thru you.

I’m 32 minutes in, and these men have helped me to see that the Lutheran doctrine of vocation is the spiritual teaching that we’re needing in this! The sacredness of all the seemingly ordinary things we’re all put here by God to do, from sweeping a floor, caring for children, being faithful, diligent and honest in ALL our work and dealings, this is the purpose of our lives that gives God glory and makes the world a better place! THIS is the teaching, the MEANING, that the Church knows that we all need! The Lutheran doctrine of vocation teaches children the honor, sacredness, and power of being an honest, faithful, loving son, daughter, and brother! And on up to adults, being honest, faithful, diligent, determined servants, managers, workers, spouses, parents, grandparents, neighbors, volunteers, friends, dentists, carpenters, WHATEVER our vocations in life. What a wonderful interview! Thank you for the conversation. I am one of those young people who don't know what to do in the world. I'm going to go ahead and say that working, going to Church, spending time with other people are all essential to my life. Being deeply religious and repentant (confession being essential) help my guilt over previous sins, and that devoting myself to the choir and to specific activism is essential. Like Dr. Temple Grandin preaches, you gotta focus on something. So even though people will say I'm stuck in my college town, I love this place, the people and God and I think that's enough to get through the crap world.

Jordan doesn't usually have this type of conversation with people who aren't a specialist in these more specialized intellectual/spiritual topics. But Konstantin is the perfect person for this as he's really gone deep into a lot of topics. Konstantin, I totally related to your hypnosis experience and your questions about what is God. Forty years ago I went to a 3-day personal development workshop. I learned a) to stop being a victim b) to stop thinking abundance had a limit, and that if you wanted your share just make a bigger pie c) if how you see yourself is significantly different from how others see you, you probably have conflict in your life. The day after the workshop I was outside cutting my lawn. I felt like everything was bright and clearer, and I was in total harmony with the universe. I saw a stranger walking towards my house. He stopped and said "I've been watching the aura around your head since I spotted you. It's getting bigger and bigger the closer I get to you." I told him how I had just taken this workshop and my paradigms had changed. I'm not religious and don't believe in a biblical God, but I've never forgotten this encounter. It was the closest I've ever felt to our all being a part of the same endless spirit/energy that comes from some unknown amazing origin.
Konstantin is a generation younger than Jordan. My prediction is that Konstantin is going to be a very known name soon, like Jordan is now. He has his own unique way of expressing what so many of us see and feel. I agree with him we have to find a more positive way of working with the Woke in creating solutions to the problems we're all facing.

I've been really liking Konstatine more and more and was excited to see him on. I could tell he was a little peeve about the focus on belief in God It's tricky to ponder in good faith what someone believes without sounded like a missionary. I don't think Konstantin was that bothered, except that he really wanted to get to Ukraine which would have been very interesting.
A big thing that Jordan could have pointed out was that Konstantin following his personal intuition without believing it is tied to anything universal is not too far off from the woke concept of "it's my truth". What makes his intuition any more truthful or valuable than the people he disagrees with?? Props to Konstantin though because he got there anyway with the comments in the preview about how if we need a concept of God to even agree on truth than he is open to it.

Great session. While I follow a different religious path - Wicca - I find the perspective Dr. Peterson takes with his view of Christianity has good intentions for people. I found meaning and inner strength from the writings of Odin and the love the Allfather had for his family and his creations. And the love his son Baldur had for humanity caused him spend much time heading the sick and helping the poor. It is a religion that says to be all you can be, learn all you can learn, be strong, be determined, be resilient and self sufficient. It also clearly lets people off the hook for being imperfect because Odin openly admits the god families are not all powerful or perfect in morality. To try and be a force for good is what counts.

After listening to this I had my thought and I cannot help but to put it here as a comment:
Jordan explained briefly the story of Moses that people went from the tirany to end up in desert being lost.
And he mentioned that if you have a child and have any sense then you love someone more then yourself and would be able to sacrifice yourself if needed for it, both have agreed to it.
And that instantly made a lot of sense and I agreed to that as well, that concept seemed to be familiar…
Later that day I thought about fatherness and I remembered a scene from Lion king where Mufasa shows Simba their kingdom. Jordan already commented on that scene that here he says that their kingdom is everywhere where sun light touches, it there is also place with shadows, and hyenas live there.
And following the movie we seen that Mufasa is capable of become a monster to fight the hyenas when Simba went there.
And later he did exactly sacrifice himself to safe Simba from stampede.
And then we also see Simba leaving the tirany and end up in desert lost.
And he adopts that narrative of being good as he is just having lazy life in the jungle, that seems is where is world is.
The pivotal scene that gives me goosebumps is where the spirit of Mufasa came to Simba and the message is to “remember who you are”.
So he grows the courage to fight his demons.
So these concepts are familiar to me because I’ve seen a lot of these in movies such as lion king as a kid.
This was one of the most engagin exchanges about religion I've seen in a while. Thank you both for a wonderful conversation.

Sorry for your loss. I was there last night, as well, and felt encouraged. I lost my Aunt in 2020 and she was someone who knew how to confront others with the truth, out of a loving heart. I agree, it was a blessing to hear that message from Dr. Peterson.

I love this. Konstantin Kisin, I am an ex-fundamentalist, but still a born again, baptized in Spirit of Love and Truth faith believer in Christ. I don't go to church, but I also some mornings wake up and feel agnostic. Then I pray simple, childlike prayers. And my agnostic clouds part enough for me to enter gratitude and 'the beauty of my existence', which the title came from my daughter who plays instruments, primarily the harp, and has written a song with that name. She is working right now on an album. One of her songs she wrote with an atheist and it is beautiful, "The So Much More That We Are". He and she with opposite beliefs were exploring their differences and found this common ground that is glorious.
Interesting since this used to be normal for people until the Marxist started dividing everyone for profit and to contort elections.

More importantly, he’s helped me release that desire or notion that I “needed” such a person to find my most useful, whole and truest spiritual path. The inspiration that comes from various sources such as Peterson, my intuition, nature, love etc has been enough to satisfy that inner need to feel I’m truly on my “right” path. I am new to the stock market. Every stock that I bought so far, I was out of luck because I bought them when they were expensive. I feel I missed out on all the stock opportunities so far for the tech stocks.I believe having 75K yearly income would be a good investment so I want to plug all my savings into the stock market. When my father was his age, he was standing on Iwo Jima. He was surrounded by thousands of men dead. He told me he shook his fist at God and asked why? He didn’t understand why he survived and those men did not. After he arrived stateside after the war, he said he didn’t even want to hear the word God. One year later, he told me about a dream he had one year later. He said in the dream God told him “one day you will all understand”. Dad said he woke up had a cuppa coffee and realized that God was much more than he could ever comprehend or try to. My father lived to be 83 years old, he was a devout Christian. Nobody told him to believe he lived it. He used to say one thing people will scream out in a real crisis even if they deny God is, they’ll say “Help me God”!!! 🙏🏻
