I am an 84 year old Glam Grandma and I agree with absolutely everything you said. You’ve got us figured out. We ARE at the best time of our lives - very few responsibilities, lots of free time for ourselves and lots of experience at handling other people. We are proud of our arrival at this moment in time and hope it lasts forever. Because we always act like ladies, we are always treated as the ladies we are. People tend to be so kind to us; so helpful and so respectful. We LOVE THAT! Here’s a toast to the ladies who sleep late, dine late, shop, read, travel and just have the most fun possible!
You are so right! Although I'm younger than you it is women like you that have influenced me.. I'm 66 & just retired.. which I just CANNOT BELIEVE.! I still feel 40 years old!!! So thank you for the influence! Sending you a virtual *CURTSY* 🤗☮️💓🇬🇧
I am 79 and I love to get “dressed “ to go shopping, to the doctor’s office. I get the looks, and I love them. Going high fashion never goes out of style and it is too much fun. Using all my vintage and new jewelry to make a statement. Loved the sunglasses suggestion!
I'm 58, and one of the big bonuses of getting older is that I have grown into my style. Every since around 13 or 14 years old, I have loved wearing tailored clothes, not so much dress 'up' as dressing well. Fabulous! my look has a nice name... Glam Granma! I am 75 widow in a rural southern area where only a couple of other ladies dress up like me for church. Hats, gloves, swing leopard print type coats, croc bag, a bit of big jewelry and a few scarves and I even found some wonderful Mary Jane type COMFORTABLE heels!. I need a big pair of sunglasses, didn't think of that. Now where else can I wear then? hmmmm
LOL! Had to go to Wiki: “A Sciura is an elderly lady from the city center of Milan, who is essentially rich, elegantly dressed and often easily recognizable by her careless attitude. Language-wise, ‘Sciura’ (pronounced /ˈʃuːra/) is the feminine form of ‘Sciur’, which is the Lombard word for ‘Mister’.” Oh, it’s from “Sir” in English!! 😅😅😅 Thank you! Learned something new every day! ❤️
Bravo! Encore! As a certified Glam Grandma (fast approaching 75), I offer a standing ovation to you. I have never been cute and I’m certainly not going to embrace being an adorably quaint old lady (and, frankly, ageist) paradigm now. I shall continue being fabulously bold and chic for, hopefully, many good years to come. I have the time and the wherewithal to shine. I am blessed and I know it. Thank you for honoring me.
Am approaching 60 and had a young woman at a bookshop recently give me a wonderful compliment . She said " I look at you and think I want to look like you when I'm your age " . I don't dye my hair . I don't wear expensive clothes . However I do take great delight in the creativity of dressing . At a time when I'm experiencing the shift into elderhood this young ladies compliment made my day .
I don’t think you “dress old for your age”, I think your style is elegant and classic. I wish more young women would dress this way. For me, age 63, it’s been my style forever.❤
Mariana, this is probably a video I could watch for hours! I'm only slightly younger than some of the ladies depicted, but this style aesthetic has been present in my head since my twenties! If you choose to do a fashion video on this subject I will be the first to watch! Kudos on the amazing video content!
I’m in mid 60s and (finally) a grandma - I have been dressing this way most of my adult life. Yes I participated in fads but majority of wardrobe was best quality pieces that I could afford and they have lasted. I have “lady jackets” that might be as old as you 😅
Thank you, thank you, thank you! Finally someone who gets us. Thank you for this. I am 77yrs old enjoying my life….and a wardrobe created over all those years.
thank you for this video. All my life l have loved fashion and loved to get dressed up. For 7 yrs. l worked at a J crew flagship store and had to always be wearing the latest store fashions. Now l’m 74, retired and live in a rural area where people do not get dressed up. l still continue to look my best when l’m out in public and always dress up for church. Thank you for appreciating that Grams can still be Glamorous! You definitely have a sophisticated style of your own! ❤
I’m 65.5 and adore every birthday that God graces me with. My grandkids say I am so much cooler than their parents, and my oldest granddaughter loves to copy my fashion choices. My grandmother and great aunts were very stylish women and I had the opportunity to learn from them and was the recipient of some gorgeous hand-me-down clothing and jewelry. I still have a fabulous handmade gown my great-great Aunt made in 1905. I also love to thrift shop. I’ve found so many stunning things at Salvation Army, and many of our locally owned resale shops. And yes I wear fur! Every single fur coat was previously loved and I saved them from being thrown away. I also volunteer my time at my church’s women’s center. I teach you girls skincare routine and how to create a basic wardrobe. I was graced with fabulous, strong women to learn from and I adore the opportunity to share what I’ve learned with young women.
Yes, I will be 80 this year. She is so correct. My sister 76 is the fashionista, she is a paraprofessional in a school. She has been the model of what a professional should look like. The staff watches daily to see what she is wearing, let’s not even touch the attitude. I have always sewn, so I briefly took a job selling sewing machines, I made outfits to wear from the fabric available in the store. Always fun to showcase skills. I find younger women, many, are quite clueless about putting items to compliment their bodies together. I have always studied fashion, it has become a lost art for everyday dressing.
Hi Mariana! This was my favorite video ever! I work in NYC and I know the ladies of Madison Avenue well! I would say they biggest style advice is: Confidence and Security. When you feel confident and and secure in yourself, you will ALWAYS look like the epitome of elegance. They have nothing to prove to anyone. I too am told I'm dressed older for my age. It's always meant I'm doing something right. It's high time we dressed like elegant ladies.
Thank you so much for this video. My whole life I have wanted to be one of these ladies. I did the corporate thing and happily retired early. Now I’m 68 and realized that I’m there. Last Sunday, I was having brunch with my husband after church in our favorite restaurant. I had on a black blazer, taupe trousers,a gorgeous St John knit mock turtleneck in beige camel and black, with black booties, and carrying a fabulous black suede designer handbag. Topped it off with a chunky real gold chain, collection of gold bangles, gold knot earrings, and a full length mink coat because it was cold. Several ladies commented on my outfit before I caught a look in a mirror. I was definitely wearing the look.
@@solangelauthier2381Dear obviously you didn’t watch the video. Minimalism is fine and I have done that before. But the point of this type of dressing is elegant and bold accessories. Nothing that isn’t real and best quality. But also nothing timid. I have the little dainty items as well but they don’t go with this type of powerful dressing.
Really loved this video! I’m 75 years young and love to dress up and wear nice accessories! I believe in aging gracefully and enjoying life to the fullest! Thank you for sharing! Hugs from Canada! 🤗👍😍
I also live in BC, and I sympathize about the lack of style models around us. I’m a bit younger (not yet 60), but getting there soon. Love this channel already!!
Hello B.C. ladies😊 I have lived in Vancouver for 4 years, being promoted and transfered from Toronto. We always had a very stylish and elegant ladies who do lunch until recently. I am 77 years old, and these ladies are nowhere to be seen in public. Covid restrictions moved them into their own private clubs and they stayed there.
I’m 70. Since the pandemic I don’t engage in many social activities like I used to. But whenever I leave home, to the grocery store, to the pharmacy or to my doctor’s office, I am always well dressed. Weather permitting, I will wear a dress or a skirt with 2 inch pumps. There are a few other things I do. I wear red lipstick and false eyelashes. It was tricky learning to apply the lashes but I finally got the hang of it with practice and a magnifying mirror. I order brown ones from Amazon that don’t t make me look like Bambi. I try to smile a lot and give compliments to strangers whenever I can.
I agree with you . They are from old money , learned style and class from childhood . Nothing , absolutely nothing like new money people , they know what colors , forms , designs , textures , styles are good for their body type . Elegant is their middle name . They don’t go with trends , they go with classical chic styles . You did a great job describing them in this video .
Fantastic video! I spent the whole time laughing and smiling because you described EVERYTHING about my mother. She would never consider even going to the supermarket unless she was ‘dressed up’. She only ever wears one necklace but it is a heavy gold chain with a large pearl. The other key items for her are scarves and of course lipstick. Even more than the style, I admire the attitude of these women. Showing up each day is a way of making the statement that you have not given up on yourself or on life. Definitely inspiring for us all and thank you for highlighting this style.
Looks like you have opened a door to specific content for a mature audience. Go for it. I’d love to see American women dress more often like those classy women in Milan.
@@hayleystabo3577 In a post further down, she said the top was from mango and no longer available. Hope that helps. She said they do have something similar.
Hi Hayley! Like Renee said below, the top is indeed an old one from Mango... But I did find another very similar from Asos (it even has the gathering around the waist, which is my favorite thing about it 😊): rstyle.me/+N-QRwygqQem1Nb98ntHwNA
Love this video. That's me right there lol i love this style. I have hand me downs from 90 year old ladies that are amazing. Beautiful wool outfits, classic dresses, skirts and trouser pants. I love my wardrobe now. ❤
Thank you for helping me feel better about being 68! You are just adorable..! As a Californian I see ladies doing everything possible to dress immodestly to look young (iccck, sorry) look young, speak young, act young. Anything but commit the unpardonable sin of actually getting older! Finally, someone encouraging great style and owning our dignity :)
My Grandmother was just like this. She was a WWII Bride from London and ended up in Tidewater Virginia. She would visit me when I was in college and she always looked to me like an aging movie start hiding from her public in the oversized sunglasses and big scarf around the head or neck. She washed, rolled and dried her hair Every Single Night. The routine involved a cup of tea and toast or "biscuits" (cookies to us in the US) and one of her favorite TV shows (BBC of course) while her hair dried in the bonnet with the hose attached to the dryer unit. The entire top drawer of her enormous dresser was nothing but trays of costume jewelry. She had a zebra print cropped jacket that she'd gotten in Paris. I didn't rank high enough when she died to be part of handling the estate. My mom and her siblings took all of her treasures to the thrifts, including the Zebra print jacket from Paris. They just had no clue about how fabulous she was. 😢
Do It! Do It! Do It! Loved this - can't wait for the lookbook! I'm not even 50 but love their style and yours. Oh, and I cannot tell you how many pair of vintage "looking" earring I've bought since discovering you and your channel - you're my inspo! Ciao,
So good! I really hope we start to see a shift in attitude towards aging. Birthdays are a gift, each one more precious than the last, and instead of lamenting over our age, we should be celebrating each year we have b/c not everyone experiences old age.
I give you ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for going in this direction. I love the glam lady look. I’m 56 and admire the style of these women and the icon Linda Roden and appreciate the classy and elegant styles of ladies of a certain age. I want to age gracefully like these Glam Grannies!
I shall never forget the sight of my beautiful mother pushing a wheelbarrow up our driveway while attired in a tweed jacket and skirt, heels, perfectly coiffed hair and of course, “ear bobs”.
I have just discovered you and am now subscribed!! Timeless elegance comes from men and women who buy quality over quantity and take care of themselves and their garments. I noticed that Princess Anne was in one of your clips. What a fabulous example of a woman who is STILL wearing clothing that she wore in her twenties and looks fantastic. I'm in my 50's and in the 80's , I was a preppy dresser, not a new waver. I still have classic pieces in my closet from that era. I will admit though, I wore a bit of neon on nights at the club😄
My grandmother recently passed away in her late 90s. She had dementia and was no longer “herself”, but I found myself remembering her days of wearing her matching outfits and getting her hair done. I laughed so hard when I found out she wanted to be buried in a dark wig - she told my mother “no gray wig”. Well, her memory was strong enough to still be a little vain at the end. And yes, my mom made sure she was in a dark wig for her burial. 😊
I loved this video! Class never ages. Don’t wish your life away, however, you will wake up someday in your 60’s, 70’s, etc. and wonder where the time went. While not a grandma, I am otherwise like these women and it saddens me to see a lot younger people becoming habituated to dressing like slobs. Would love a follow up video on this topic.
I love “ladies of Madison Avenue”! There is so much inspiration there. They are mostly wealthy and have wardrobe that they collected for long time but we all can look like that with little extra effort. I’m 56 and heading that way so I’m taking notes from your video!
I think the “collected for a long time” is my favorite part of it, Agata… you can see that their look is a journey through decades of fashion, which makes things interesting and original. Such an inspiration!
Your video came across my feed being a fashion lover . Glam grandma definitely caught my interest to see how you address these beautiful women. So very well done. Before I hit the subscribe button I watched some of your past videos. Truly admire your take on fashion/style with younger women to ladies that was raised to look fabulous during every occasion appropriately. New subscriber and loving how your format closely matches me. I’m 70yrs old and continue being influence by women who shares my great info no matter their age.
Absolutely love this! ❤I just happened upon your channel and how refreshing! I am a sixty year old glam grandma and I hate the way society is diminishing us! We are so relevant, wise and beautiful! Please do more and a look book! I am always searching for glam grandma fashion inspo!!
@@MarianaZelenjuk I get ask that to !! just yesterday at the hair stylist I was ask , why do you wear dresses a lot,? is it something to do with a religion ?? WOW I couldn't believe it ! Whatever happened to dressing like a lady?!
I love this. My grandma is 100% the most fashionable and glamorous person I know. She ran her own boutique for most of her life. And even now in her 80s she is always so elegant and stylish. Once in a while she gifts me items she doesn't wear anymore, and they're definately the most high-quality items in my wardrobe! And ofc they''re all the more special since they have so much sentimental value.
Such a great video Mariana and I would love to see a glam grandma look book. I admire women who dress beautifully and with confidence. I’m in my early 60’s and can only aspire to this level of glam 😊
70 yo NY here. I always loved classic quality. I would save for one cashmere sweater over junk. My designer labels still look GREAT! I also collect vintage jewlry and I wear it! I went back to work and get compliments every day.😊 Marianna, I want to send you my etsy shop, gorgeous jewely. 😂
I loved your vlog. am now turned 71 but now a Grandma yet. My wardrobe is full of eclectic clothing from buying over the years. I now wear whatever I want even shocking people sometimes. Preferably an elegant form. My favourite piece would a coat/duster/kimono as they can finish a look easily. I am lover of the brighter colours and also prints/animal. Only occasionally do I dress down if the company or place I’m with/at is low key, just out of respect, this being the darker colours with minimal jewellery, accessories etc. Dressing up is so easy when you are older but many others frown upon now it as, since Covid, people got stuck in casuals and either can’t get out of them, don’t want to or can’t afford to change. I am more happy in my vibrant clothes now I’m in the lovely elegant zone.
I would LOVE to see more of this on your channel! I am 70 and definitely would firmly plant myself right in the middle of the Grandma Glam. I am launching a new class here in Canada for aging youthfully to women over 60. Your video will be at the top of my recommended resource list. Please keep up with this topic. Filled with so much joy.
Yes yes yes. More more more! Finally someone gets us and is giving us a voice! Bless your heart girl and keep it coming. So many others that do 60+ videos are terribly boring. The styles are boring, the haircuts are boring and the makeup is boring. I am proud of my age and refuse to become invisible. Thank you!
You dont dress older. You dress like a classic confident woman who knows where they are going and comfortable in their own skin. . One fun thing about getting older (I‘m 67) and being in the business world, I still have decades of my decent costume jewelry and scarves, so as the trends come and go I can shop in my own stash of baubles etc (and its huge after 40 years!)that is of far better quality than the fast fashion garbage sold today. I think a lot of these ladies have done the same thing. Im living rural in retirement so there isn’t the need for all the style and Im selling some on eBay but I do like to look nice when Im out during the day. Too many people have let themselves go. Its a shame. This was a great video. New sub here. ❤
Fantastic video! Incredibly inspiring and just what I needed to get me excited about fashion again after months of freezing, snowy weather. I'm your age and these glam grandmas are my absolute heroes! My great grandma and my granny were both very stylish, elegant women and didn't let their age stop them from enjoying their lives.
Oh wouah..... That was such an interesting topic. With a sense of humour and so observative. So respectful as well of aging. A sort of counterpoint. Loved it.
I like dresses, and I like the style of Jackie Kennedy, with her modest dresses, pretty coats, with her bag on the crook of her arm and her big sunglasses or a scarf on her head or her neck, very classy and elegant, so I’m trying to copy that😄❤️
Yes please on the look book, I dress elevated classic, ralph lauren favorite designer. Great video. You are so amazing. How you dress is perfect, you do you.
LOVE this! I’ve always been a huge fan of simple elegance that looks effortless, ie. Jackie Kennedy Onassis. Now that I’m 53, I’m embracing this sensibility as I purchase pieces for the long haul and not items on trend.
I come from the dance world. I am in great shape and wear short skirts , fancy sparkle cloths that 20 year olds wear . It’s fun, I love it , and it makes me happy at 76. My part was 20 years younger than me and he looked older.
Mariana, this video was a great treat to view. Every day I strive to remain stylish and elegant. I am 70 and my children are still young. They are 15 and 16. Not only is it important to stay tuned in to current style But I am returning to the working world in order to supply them with the little extras in life when they go off to college in a couple of years. Being able to build a business at this point in my life is so very different from when I was in my 20s. Life experiences, and the confidence that those have brought are making this point in my life a delicious challenge. Thank you for reinforcing In your video and appreciation, for the aesthetics of mature women.
My beautiful grandmother was just like this! She taught me how to throw a dinner party, how to "drink like a lady" (if only she knew), and of course, haute couture.❤❤❤
So interesting. My great Aunt Mae was one of these glam ladies. I remember a veiled hat, gloves and a real fur scarf. Im 75, retired in a Texas suburb. My style is more preppy chic and Martha Stewart like. I wish there were places to go wearing these glam styles but I try to give a nod to it by wearing pearls, classic handbags, large sunglasses and rings and bracelets with some outfits. I also have a couple leopard print pieces. Pearl earrings as well. Such a fun video!
I truly enjoyed and definitely would love to you do more concerning videos this made me feel wonderful ! I am going to be 64, working in office with girls in their 40s! I dress up to go to work, where they dress so very casual !! I wear a lot of the items you pointed out ! Please do more !!
Loved this! I've also always loved this style (in fashion and behavior!) At 66 I feel my sciura coming to fore now. I think another characteristic of the sciura is the emphasis on quality materials and heritage craftsmanship. No polyester here!
I loved this... at 82 I love dressing up...and receive many compliments as I greet at church. I feel it is my responsibility to set an example for young women. It is so sad to see so many who dress only in the very casual items...some look as if they just rolled out of bed! And if men would wear suits.. they would be amazed how women would respond!!!
"Advanced Style" women pictured in the blog and on Instagram are not very often "classIc" but make bold statements and bold choices in their outfits. They don't care any more about what other people think and it is really fun to see!
The trick to look good, is to have the proper clothes. If you don’t own a track suit or leggings, then you are not gonna wear them…easy. The confidence is an attitude you can fake, but cannot fake a good outfit. Once you look good, people will start complementing you and then you’ll realize how good you really look. Start with getting rid of the bad quality, “Shein” type of clothes and the ones that don’t fit, and get yourself good pieces. In January and then in the Summer most stores have great sales, take advantage of them. My grandma was like one of this ladies, but in Lima-Perú. Back in the 50’s-60’’s she was a boss babe 🤭 In a time when women used to mostly wear skirts, she was rocking pants because “it was more practical for every day wear”. For sure , please do more look books inspired by this ladies!
I am 68 and you’re my favorite TH-camr. I’m obsessed with watching fashion. I worked in the business when I was 20 years old. I managed a clothing store and that really did it for me. I have loved it ever since I have a minimal classic wardrobe since I’m retired.😊
Long time viewer, first time commenting… I truly enjoy all your videos, but this was such a good one! I don’t think I want to rock the grandma glam, but whenever I go to a country where wealth combined with style is present (I’m from Hungary, where we have the exact opposite 😢), I admire these ladies! Loved your comment at the end about “not caring” whether we would like to see part 2, this is really how you should go, nevertheless I would love to see more grandma glam content!
Just exactly what I’ve been looking for. Acknowledging our fashion sense and experience works at All Ages. Older is not ‘cute’ it’s Real. Experience is valuable. Thank you for perfectly explaining from your POV so others can learn. ❤
Oh, thank you for a complementary video of my age group! You have so accurately described my style and attitude as a late 60s woman, and it’s refreshing to hear that you recognize the our value. 👏🏻
It was a pleasure, Cheryl! Just by my giddy voice on the video you can tell how much I admire a lady who doesn’t let age get in the way of having fun with fashion ☺️
I saw one at Panda Express in Texas! ( no idea why she was there, must have been an emergency🤣) No joke! She was in front of me. Had to be 85. I mean to tell y’all, her style was impeccable. Every single thing matched and was expensive. She must have been from Highland Park and was lost! 🤣🤣🤣 Check to glasses, hair, scarf in animal print, wrap, super expensive purse, and JEWELRY! I felt under dressed at Panda Express! She was lovely. Great, fun video! Thanks!
I have a French friend (89 yrs old) and she is everything you describe - elegant, chic, has had three husbands and looks like a million bucks. She’s a great bridge player and dresses better than anyone else at our club. There is one exception, however, her dog is not a tiny, but a pit bull. 😅
If you want to be part of that SciuraGlam just dye your hair platinum gray or partially highlighted in grays or try a wig. Try different shades of gray in a wig shop for instance to get your color before you dye. You can also try partial hair pieces to ease into the look. Or try washable hair products in gray and see if you can pull off the look. Lots of young ladies are wearing shades of gray in their hair so it wouldn't be way out their for you to try and maybe add glasses or sunglasses to the look. Hope to see you try this journey.
Why would anyone wish to grow old sooner. Enjoy each age, just like these beautiful elderly ladies. I am sixty eight and I continue to always dress edgy no matter what age I am.
You love classic clothes and I believe your attitude is every bit as timeless and elegant. This is called quiet luxury as it’s best. Keep doing what you are doing.

Exactly!! They dress for the creative pleasure of it, which I love!!
Loved the video!
Gold, gold, gold… like a walking Xmas tree… What about « less is more » ?
@@solangelauthier2381Dear obviously you didn’t watch the video. Minimalism is fine and I have done that before. But the point of this type of dressing is elegant and bold accessories. Nothing that isn’t real and best quality. But also nothing timid. I have the little dainty items as well but they don’t go with this type of powerful dressing.
The gold accents make ALL THE DIFFERENCE!!!! And that final addition of the mink coat? Chef’s kiss!
@@MarianaZelenjuk Dear Mariana, I just refuse to be intimidated to not wear my furs by young women carrying a lambskin bag. Such hypocrisy.
Fabulous 👌 ❤
Really loved this video! I’m 75 years young and love to dress up and wear nice accessories! I believe in aging gracefully and enjoying life to the fullest! Thank you for sharing! Hugs from Canada! 🤗👍😍
I’m 70 and live in British Columbia and working on my wardrobe. Would love to see a look book video.
I also live in BC, and I sympathize about the lack of style models around us. I’m a bit younger (not yet 60), but getting there soon. Love this channel already!!
Hello B.C. ladies😊
I have lived in Vancouver for 4 years, being promoted and transfered from Toronto.
I'm in my late seventies and come from an era where there were dress codes in the work place which I feel were very beneficial.
She sounds so amazing, Dijana!! What a gift to have her in your life as inspiration🤩
Yes please ! A Glam Grandma book would be so inspiring. Loved your presentation. More, more, more please. Such great looking ladies.
Looks like you have opened a door to specific content for a mature audience. Go for it. I’d love to see American women dress more often like those classy women in Milan.
Love your top very audrey hepburn. I am in the early end of the age bracket and I refuse to give up and wear pajamas to Walmart 😂. Thank you.
That’s the attitude we should all have! 👏🏻
I would love to know where you purchased this top Mariana :) Thank you!
Lesson to learn: tell the Glam lady relative that you love that piece and one day, when Glam doesn’t want it anymore you would be proud to inherit it.
To me you look like audrey hepburn in the late fifth like days early sixties... It's a very classic yet glamorous look... Which is timeless.
Yes! Yes! I am a 71 years YOUNG glam grandmother.
As a 63 year old I really appreciate the positive encouragement. Thank you.
Do It! Do It! Do It! Loved this - can't wait for the lookbook! I'm not even 50 but love their style and yours. Oh, and I cannot tell you how many pair of vintage "looking" earring I've bought since discovering you and your channel - you're my inspo! Ciao,
Yes do a Glam Gram Lookbook. You are classy and beautiful!!
So good! I really hope we start to see a shift in attitude towards aging. Birthdays are a gift, each one more precious than the last, and instead of lamenting over our age, we should be celebrating each year we have b/c not everyone experiences old age.
Exactly! We tend to forget that age holds the key to wisdom and true self confidence! What a gift!
Oh, I just googled her and she’s fabuloooous!!!! The bright lipstick?? I’m dead 😍
I shall never forget the sight of my beautiful mother pushing a wheelbarrow up our driveway while attired in a tweed jacket and skirt, heels, perfectly coiffed hair and of course, “ear bobs”.
Waaait, what? She sounds divine!!!!!!
You’re so right! We have to enjoy every phase of life… but stylish women in their 60s, 70s, 80s just sound so fabulous!!
Yes yes and yes to more of this topic and a look book. Great job . I myself, love this aesthetic and am always asked "why are you so dressed up?" Lol
I don’t get why people feel the need to ask!!! It just makes me want to dress up even more 😂
@@MarianaZelenjuk I get ask that to !! just yesterday at the hair stylist I was ask , why do you wear dresses a lot,? is it something to do with a religion ?? WOW I couldn't believe it ! Whatever happened to dressing like a lady?!
Great video. Look forward Carolina Herrera Style , she looks chic and classic. It’s the style I have been following since I was a teen 🤓😀
She’s an icon!!! What a lady!
Great video.. Many parts.. hysterical but still true.
I Loved the line.. “Leopard is a neutral for those women” 😂
Yes to the sciura look book !
This video is brilliant. More people need to highlight the beauty, grace and glamour of older women ♥️♥️♥️
Thank you Mariana. Please another video. I love love the grandma glam!!!! Now to get some vintage glasses!!!! Ah! Cheers
Thank you for this episode, I would love to see more on the Glam Grandmas, it’s what I aspire to be!
That Ralph Lauren look is so timeless and chic!!
LOVE this! I’ve always been a huge fan of simple elegance that looks effortless, ie. Jackie Kennedy Onassis. Now that I’m 53, I’m embracing this sensibility as I purchase pieces for the long haul and not items on trend.
Love this! About to turn 70 in a couple weeks, and love the style! 🩷
I saw this older woman once in Switzerland I thought “THATS what I want to be when I’m older.” She was dressed so 🤌🏼.
You see how impactful some bold style choices and a dash of self confidence can be? You still remember her!
Mariana, first time watching a video from you and I must say, YOU ARE SUCH A BREATH OF FRESH AIR!!
The combination of a veiled hat and gloves just sounds like it will make your day better, doesn’t it? 🤩
I truly enjoyed and definitely would love to you do more concerning videos this made me feel wonderful ! I am going to be 64, working in office with girls in their 40s! I dress up to go to work, where they dress so very casual !! I wear a lot of the items you pointed out ! Please do more !!
Very nice acknowledgment of Women of Age. 82 years young ,still sewing to create My Look and Style! Sciuraglam Nana Eleanor!
Loved this! I've also always loved this style (in fashion and behavior!) At 66 I feel my sciura coming to fore now. I think another characteristic of the sciura is the emphasis on quality materials and heritage craftsmanship. No polyester here!
Oh. Yes. Please!!!!! More glam gram videos. Or just style icons. ❤
Best video! I absolutely love this style, and I totally agree with you.
Love, love, love this...more of this please Mariana!
67 yr old grandma and I loved this video that just showed up in my feed! Loved it so much I just subscribed and can’t wait for more! 💕
Love a look book! My grandma is one of the ladies you are featuring. Fierce, beautiful and kind.
Perfectly said❤ my favorite is vintage jewelry.. please keep making these kind of videos 🙏🏼
Perfect video subject Mariana. Love the way you talk about the glamour on elderly that most of time are tagged outdated. Thank you ❤️ Bjs 😘
Gonna be 73 in two days and I do all the things. Thanks for the validation!
"Advanced Style" women pictured in the blog and on Instagram are not very often "classIc" but make bold statements and bold choices in their outfits. They don't care any more about what other people think and it is really fun to see!
Exactly! They’re just having fun with fashion and expressing themselves. I love their gutsy approach to style 😍
Well done! As a designer of luxury accessories, I am delighted to see your insightful video, guiding others towards elegance and self confidence.
Love this video. More Glam Grandma ❤❤❤
Carlsen, you with the sweet comments 😊 they always make my day!
Yes the look book would be wonderful!
We are alive and well...everywhere!
Please do a look book. 😊
Yes please! More glam grandma!
Yes! to Glam Grandma! What a fun video! ✨💛 thank you Mariana!
I am 57 ... this has always been how I want to feel about myself as I age. I am retired now so I can devote my time to it! Grazie
I am 74 and this is my closest to a T. I dress everyday. But enjoy your youth 😊
Love this content. I'm 68 and love this style. Ty so much for putting this out there. Bravo!
Why would anyone wish to grow old sooner. Enjoy each age, just like these beautiful elderly ladies. I am sixty eight and I continue to always dress edgy no matter what age I am.
For me (75) it's all about a jacket , shoes and jewelry.
You love classic clothes and I believe your attitude is every bit as timeless and elegant. This is called quiet luxury as it’s best. Keep doing what you are doing.
