Another great video. I'm always recommending your videos on FB when people ask questions on how to do things. You have a gentle voice and a way great way of explaining so many techniques. I'm always going back to the bokeh video to remind myself how to do it!!
Thank you so much Lora! I really appreciate it. xo I am going to do another bokey vid with a dark background and yellow circles like you would see in a nighttime reflection.
Hi Dea thank you so much for sharing this video I enjoyed it and it took me to something I did as child when coloring and drawing you help me to get back on that bike and ride again if you know what I mean have a bless one creative colourful hugs to you
Interesting question! Depends on what I am doing. If I am doing a portrait I like luminance. For botanicals I like Polychromos. For coloring I like to jump around and try--lately I like Castle Art--they do not have as much pigment as Plys or Prismas--but almost nothing does, but they are cheap and great! My favorites are Polychromos. I also love Prismacolors. A few other sets I have liked and reviewed are Bayland, Heros, Pablos, and Feelas. I've got a playlist where I compare if you'd like to check it out: th-cam.com/play/PLJKTWpW8n3iuK6fQ7tl7GFCys5Bi0FVER.html
Wonderful teaching
Thank you so much--glad you are here. xo
Good lesson. Those buns are adorable.
Awwww thank you so much! The new Buns books is out now, it's called The Year of the Bun! xo You can find flip-through here on TH-cam. xo
The cross-hatched carrot does have a very cool stylized look. The bunny's teeth on the burnished carrot cracks me up! Love this page!
Thanks Pam! Glad it made you laugh. xo
I just love those little bunnies. When my book arrives, I know I'm gonna be in coloring buns heaven.

Fabulous! I need to see that for sure. Both times I've done background it's been pale so a nighttime one would be perfect!

I find I do all of these. I just have to concentrate more to make my results better.
Not sure how I missed this comment! Thank you. Same here.
You are very welcome Dea
👍🏻TY! Perfect.
Thank you Julie! xo
Dea Lenihan Are Stippling & Pointillism the same technique? I just finished a Pointillism exercise, using super fine tipped markers.
Pointillism is actually more like what I did in the video. It's using colors and stippling is forming an image.
what brand of color pencils do you use
