France vs Brazil got me stressed man. 41 year old Huertas gave us hell throughout the 40 minutes. Thank God we got Batman to help Wemby. Ntilikina was better than expected, but we need more from our guards. Our defense on screens was atrocious at first, but that improved after half-time. Still, the various lapses of concentration and the stagnant offense are problems that need to be resolved. But hey, at least we finally got a win

Bro as a Brazilian that game made me furius at times, Wemby is UNSTOPPABLE and Refs had some decisions that obviously were helping France, but we commited to many turnovers and lost control of offense, Bruno Caboclo our best player barely played (what i've said about the refs) and we still maneged to fight, proud, but we had the felling that could've been more. But i am very proud

Greece could have won if they went harder in the first half. In the second half they played Euroleague defence and passed the ball well to Giannis, they made some big shots. They could have won. Canada only plays iso, no pick n roll, almost no corner game. Any good team who comes hard at them from the beggining they will win
Germany was cruising in a must-win-game and Daniel Theis played epic. He basically defended Hachimura all game perfectly and didn't miss a shot! Good start!

Nic Batum is GOAT man. Back in the Sixers he was the one who would help calm the games down and hit big shots. Wemby obviously got the biggest stats, but I think Batum was clearly the standout, especially in such a messy game.

We have no offensive creation, we had 19 turnovers against Brazil and our guards got destroyed by a 41-years old Huertas (kudos to him, but still). Caboclo was basically out of this game, and we won by quite a tight margin. When Rudy & Victor are together on the floor, we routinely play the 2 of them outside the 3 point line in offense. They should spend at max 5 minutes per game together, to surprise the opponent, otherwise we need Wemby & Yabu or Lessort. For our guards, Albicy should play more, he's less turnover-prone and creates more. De Colo should not be here. Fournier is really broken by his Knicks years and is hurting us. If we only had Thomas Heurtel I would put us as a contender alongside Germany and Australia behind USA and Canada but as of now, I dont think were gping pas quarter finals unless Victor plays a bit more selfishly like Giannis.

Despite Giannis doing all the work and the rest of the Greek team playing poorly, Canada still managed to win by just a few points. This shows how good the Greek team can be if all of its players are focused and play their best, as we saw in the previous games prior to the Olympics.
