With Paul George's years of being an elite player possibly being down to their last few, next year is vital for them. Yes. the Celtics will still be the biggest challenge and the Knicks will be a very close second, the 76ers can be the third or fourth best team in the eastern conference next year because no real basketball fan should ever trust the combined delusion of Doc Rivers and Darvin Ham as coaches.

@@ricanLegend2003 facts. His +/- in the playoffs is all time great. He was +78 against the Raptors for example - despite Marc Gasol lowkey having him in his pocket at times (only Horford i’ve seen do the same)
I feel for Embiid, but I feel more for Jahlil Okafor. He was the FIRST "sacrificial lamb" in Sam Hinkie's "Process" that culminated in the Sixers getting Embiid. Being the FIRST overall #1 pick to a franchise that PROUDLY admitted being in perpetual tank mode meant his pro resume, as well as his marketability to other teams, was DOOMED from the jump.
As a Nuggets fan, I hated Kobe a lot cuz he whooped our ass for years. But towards the end of his career, I realized he is a once in a lifetime player. It was terrible to learn of his passing. What pisses me off about Embiid is that he’s constantly being compared to Jokic and delusional fans pick him over Jokic. Embiid’s resume is nowhere near Jokics, and his play style is horrendous. It doesn’t make any sense all the hype Embiid has when he’s not a real winner or team leader.
No, that means you failed at being feared. You just described a lolcow, lol. A good example of a villain would be KD in GS or LeBron winning in 2012/13.
@@peamut547i think the real issue is his need to be liked. when bron, kobe and kd were hated, they embraced it. when joel gets hate or faces adversity, he deflects it and plays dumb. he’s a villain that wants to be liked by everyone. u can’t have both.
Embiid is not consistent enough for the type of offense the team runs through him. Offense is slow when it runs through him, and he sets trash screens. Olympics are exposing the type of role he needs. He can’t have the highest usage % the way a big like Jokic can do. Jokic has a low vert, but his lateral quickness is great when compared to Embiid.
Hot take, the Jimmy Butler Sixers, and more generally the Ben Simmons era Sixers, are overrated. In regards to the Jimmy Butler Sixers specifically, Ben Simmons could not operate in the half-court, especially in the playoffs, due to his shooting limitations, Butler wasn't really a floor spacer thanks to his wrist injury making him a low volume 3pt shooter, Embiid's outside game wasn't developed yet, and JJ was constantly targeted. In regard in the Ben Simmons era Sixers in general, once teams figured out that Ben couldn't or wouldn't shoot, Ben quickly became a regular season player only since teams didn't want to alter their schemes/most teams did not have the personnel to guard him. The Ben Simmons era Sixers are overhyped, and thus unfairly used to bash Embiid. But don't get it twisted, I too don't like Embiid. Ever since those comments he made after Game 7 in Boston about him and Harden, the only two max players on team, needing help, even though they were the ones who shit the bed, really put a sour taste in my mouth. It's one thing to complain if you are putting up GOAT-level performances, and even then real leaders take the blame. But to shit on others when you shit the bed harder than everyone else? That's loser behavior, both in sports and in real life.
Funny how people blame Harden for that 2 years sixers loss when EMBIID THE MVP FIRST OPTION fails to stay HEALTHY, Harden was 33 or 34 trying to upkeep the franchise while the hero is hurt....AGAIN
Great video. However, the biggest issue with embiid these last few years is he’s always entering the playoffs on one leg. You broke down the performances but the reason he couldn’t take advantage of Tatum who was playing like trash was because he could barely move. Embiid had maybe two good seasons left on those knees
I would take lebron at 50 over prime embiid in the playoffs...and I'm a sixer fan. In a player's league, every legit HOF player needs to make a finals appearance as the team's #1 option.
Dirk never was a complaining baby and never blamed teammates or went to other countries cuz he was too insecure to play for his own and he never injured other players intentionally Don't compare these 2
I like Embiid, I like his style, his play, his footwork, he was a phenom coming out of Kentucky and would've gone 1st overall if he didn't get injured (and he still went 3rd with a broken foot). He has been very unlucky in the playoffs with injuries, but I just can't keep defending this guy.
You’re young if you believe the hype around LeBron being hated. It was nothing more than another manufactured moment in a manicured career that still manipulates the weak minded.
He's a regular season flop merchant who has consistently shown that he can't get it done in the playoffs, dude disappears every time his team needs him. I rooted for Embiid to win his MVP the year he got it, but pretty much everything he's done since then has made him my least favorite player.
I love his game but dude is just so unlikeable . If your going on a whole press tour campaigning for MVP you can’t go pathetic in a game 7
@@rohangupte3545Tatum really dropped a 50 ball on that man 😂
@lorddj9910 I'ma get hate for it but this is precisely why I can't take it seriously when someone says they'd take Embiid over Tatum. I'm not tryna hide it no more, when it comes to the playoffs when it counts yes we get annoyed at JT's inconsistency but we really out here willing to make excuses for a guy that just never showed up in the first place? Say what you will about JT's inconsistency but to be inconsistent means that he first had to show up on multiple occasions, Embiid never has.
@@narrow3601EXACTLY THIS. The same people who criticize Jayson Tatum will sit here and cape for Embiid when he has produced way less than Tatum
@Nick-sr4fe right?? The reason JT gets all this criticism is because he brave enough to take the accountability of when shit goes south in the first place. He knows exactly what's coming when he dawns that cape and bears with it, even having to deal with the people saying he doesn't deserve the cape. Meanwhile, Embiid's team time and time again has had to watch as he actively avoids the task of having to do the same for them. He cowers in fear of the backlash he MIGHT receive before he ever even dawns the cape. He wants the praise, but not the responsibility.
If Unc status is remembering certain NBA events in 2010 then I'm old AF
Never saw him as a villain
He was a joke…

12:25 The most ironic shit to hear if youre a Raptors fan since he fell on Scottie on his rookie playoff debut when was on path for a trip dub and injured him lol, and also ironic if youre a fan of other eastern conference teams, even Philly themselves since he fell on Danny too
If you're a raptors fan than you'll also remember in the first round when he took an elbow to the face from Siakam causing an orbital fracture during game 5 while we were up by 30 with 4 mins left. It's crazy almost like weird injuries happen in basketball or something??
@@Timmeh_Timbo except my point is that Embiid hurts people tryna flop for fouls or him being clumsy as fuck all the damn time
so him talking about freak accidents is very funny, bc he is the king of giving them too
Essentially, flop and say stupid shit all the time 😂
This makes the 2024-25 season so pivotal for Joel Embiid: because with the emergence of Tyreese Maxey and getting Paul George, the 76ers actually can make the ECF.
Bucks coaches are frauds, but you can never count out a healthy giannis
ben simmons really saved him from generational hate
Embiid just saved USA at Olympics against Serbia.
who else saw the og title "how to become the nba's next villain"
it was too dramatic so i think the new title is better. Embiid isnt really a villain either cause hes never been the best player in the world where as bron and kd were during their superteam days
Buddy has changed the name of like the last five vids within two hours of uploading
1:18 I remember being a kid watching ts premiere on Disney xd 😭
Embiid is a straight up troll. I don't take him serious. For example, bro gotta sit on the bench with Tatum after all that talking🤷🏾♂️
Thanks, Joel Embiid for helping USA win against Serbia!!!
I used to be a big Embiid fan until I realized the sum of what you said in this video. Instead of Kawhi Stephen A Smith should be referring to Embiid when he says the worst superstar.
The worst Mvp in nba history. MOST VALUABLE PUNK tbh.
8:11 as a hawks fan, 2021 brings back so many great memories 🥲
Saved the USA but have fun making Embiid hate-videos...
He got carried most of the Olympics, played one good game and you're saving he saved them? Lmao
Even embiid mvp was a cry price, he was never the the real deal.
Great video👍
words cannot express how much i enjoyed this video. thank you swishout
Prepare those apology letters man. He's going to win the championship next season.
😂😂😂 you don't even believe that yourself lmao

Especially since you signed Podcast P, Wayoff P, Placid P, Pathetic P, Pedestrian P, Pacemaker P, Pukey P all for the low cost of 50m a year, let's goooooooo 😂💀
Dude i keep saying this, his falls and him playing in blowouts to get his numbers up, is what ruins him. If he didnt flopp that much and played less minutes, he would have lesser numbers but would be ready for playoffs... Instead he avg 36 ppg for like 40 games and most of those are vs non playoff teams... He either plays bad or ducks best teams every year... Whoever is his trainer should tell him, play less minutes, score a bit less , rebound lesa and stop throwing yourself on the floor, it doesnt even work in playoffs and you will win NBA if you stop this BS.
yeah I remember when he killed this BS narrative when he dropped 51 on Gobert and the number 1 defense in the league.
@@Swashcuff in REGULAR season lol
This video aged even worse
Joel is a bum. I can’t respect a dude that does all that work in the regular season just to flame out and not stay healthy in the postseason. The best ability is availability
@michaelbarnes2126 you can't "respect" someone because of an unfortunate injury history? That doesn't even make sense lol
@@PovertyG0d he foul baits, cried for an MVP and throws shade when he’s barely achieving anything in the league. It’s more than the injuries
Been waiting for a Vid!! Keep it up Swish
great video and story telling
I still don’t understand how we rank embiid over tatum. Embiid has never beaten tatum in the playoffs and last time they met tatum dropped 50 on him
True
On the "path of least resistance", Embiid declared for one of the greatest Team USAs ever this year that CLEARLY doesn't need him instead of a national team (Cameroon/France) that does because it's an easy gold.
Video aged like milk.
Glad to hear somebody say it. When players perform poorly these are the videos you will see.
How?
Embiid and Paul George are having a blame off by the end of the year. Those two dodge responsibility better than any players I've ever seen
Embiid has the talent of a superstar, but not the mindset of one
This aged well
He exemplifies the opposite of that famous saying "Its impossible not to like this guy."
I will go to my grave saying Jokic is an MVP for 4 straight years.
There is no way I will ever acknowledge Embiid as an MVP even if my life depended on it.
LeDecision was like JFK assassination to me. I remember everything so vividly
Ngl u cooked with this vid🔥 straight facts
the joel embiid hate is cringe worthy from a bunch of wortheless "men".
great video! 100% agree!
I dare someone to name a single bench player on that 2019 sixers roster 🤣🤣🤣
Greg Monroe who was -12 in the 1 min 30 sec that Embiid sat in Game 7 vs Raptors…. 💔
TJ McConnell
@@BuMPiHD 🤣🤣🤣 unless embiid played 48 minutes they had no chance.
@@ricanLegend2003 facts. His +/- in the playoffs is all time great. He was +78 against the Raptors for example - despite Marc Gasol lowkey having him in his pocket at times (only Horford i’ve seen do the same)
@@achuil he was ass. Mostly because his teammates consisted of Walmart workers on that bench.
It doesn’t make any sense all the hype Embiid has when he’s not a real winner or team leader.
i think the point of being a villian is we don't want you to succeed, if joel don't win in my opinion he the best villain ever lol
I never realised how much Antichrist's beat works for a video like this 😮
Man, these clips that you find for the start of every video is on point. Keep it up 💯
Best video salute bruh
If Joel is finally healthy come postseason this is the year they do it maxey is on another level now
aged terribly
He had a good game now but that still doesn't change how annoying he is
Embiid mocking Giannis when he can't even get out of the 2nd round was wild.
Funny how people blame Harden for that 2 years sixers loss when EMBIID THE MVP FIRST OPTION fails to stay HEALTHY,
Harden was 33 or 34 trying to upkeep the franchise while the hero is hurt....AGAIN
10:26 they took lebron to 7 games in ECF how could you say they weren’t the better team 😂😂
this channel is what happens when you dont watch basketball and still think you know about it
Great video. However, the biggest issue with embiid these last few years is he’s always entering the playoffs on one leg. You broke down the performances but the reason he couldn’t take advantage of Tatum who was playing like trash was because he could barely move. Embiid had maybe two good seasons left on those knees
Nah the best bail out is Chuck telling Shaq, "If I had Kobe and Wade carrying my fat ass, I'd have four rings too."
I would take lebron at 50 over prime embiid in the playoffs...and I'm a sixer fan.
In a player's league, every legit HOF player needs to make a finals appearance as the team's #1 option.
Reverse King Midas. I love this!
Bro just say you hate embiid 😂 this video could not be more subjective
Embiid gets the treatment that dirk got before dirk became a champ
Dirk never was a complaining baby and never blamed teammates or went to other countries cuz he was too insecure to play for his own and he never injured other players intentionally
Don't compare these 2
2:42 “Have you ever seen a Chevy with a butterfly door?

That David Banner joint was my ish 🔥
Nah…. I think Embiid is aging at exactly the rate that we all think he is🤣🤣🤣
I like Embiid, I like his style, his play, his footwork, he was a phenom coming out of Kentucky and would've gone 1st overall if he didn't get injured (and he still went 3rd with a broken foot). He has been very unlucky in the playoffs with injuries, but I just can't keep defending this guy.
Big difference - the first three were Winners + Champions. Embiid won't ever come close to sniffing either
Like you said, Kobe was HATED! Things change with time and perspective. Ill never be a big fan but i admire his legacy/greatness.
I used to pray for times like this
Lebron biggest accomplishment as a NBA player was getting his hairline back. What a comeback 👏
Embiid hasn’t beat Boston in the playoffs yet
This guy hates on embiid at least once every other month
You’re young if you believe the hype around LeBron being hated. It was nothing more than another manufactured moment in a manicured career that still manipulates the weak minded.
He's a regular season flop merchant who has consistently shown that he can't get it done in the playoffs, dude disappears every time his team needs him. Immediately resorting to blaming everything on others when he is the superstar face of the team but not playing well is just embarrassing and childish.
Embiid is about one season away from Tyrese Maxey taking this team over and becoming the Man in Philly
He owes his MVP to KP's asinine take on Jokic. KP had never had as much impact on basket-ball before that, even when he played.
