I stumbled back on this video and it's almost perfect timing. I have been waiting for low humidity down here in Florida to dye my interior that is Porno Red in my 88 GT Vert. It's one of the reasons that I bought it (Oxford White Red Stripe/White top/Red interior) I love this combination! Thank you for all that you put into the channel. The information and content is priceless! I watch TH-cam for fox content more than regular television.
I hated red forever, but I have to admit it's starting to grow on me. Looks great brother!
On my monitor, the new color looks real close to the 1965 Mustang's version of Ford Rangoon Red. Screams Ford, louder than ever, lol. Great work, as usual.

I like red interior more because of you. That red is soooo much nicer than the dark red. That car is going to be wicked nice.
Dying all my interior currently and it’s very tedious along with evap and heater cores with releasing as much of the hvac system as possible. Definitely a love hate relationship with this thing. Keeping seats and the dash pad red everything else is going black, should look pretty slick when done.

Thanks for the tip on the NAPA colors, I luckily have owned an 88 couple with red interior since 1990. Since then I collected a few free sets of red interiors due to no one else wanting them. Like you will hear many say I wasn't too keen on the red back in the day but I have grown to love it. Well most of it, I swapped out the seats for black and added some black to the dash area but 90% of the red is still there. Cheers all it's almost driving season up north here :)

I was always a four eye guy but a close friend had an 88 hatch and then and 88 notch both oxford white with scarlet red interiors. Last year I bought my very first aeronose, an 89 5.0 LX Sport, oxford white with scarlet red interior. It is like being sucked 20-25 years back in time in the best way possible. Anyways, keep up the great content.

I never did hate red interior in these cars. Was it my first choice? No. But I still did like red interior. I owned a White '87 with tt's and red interior. I ended up selling it. But not because of the red.

The black and grey or black has always been my favorite but horry chitt that red is lookin sweet! I know it a pita but it's these details that turn a zero into a hero. Car is looking mint.

Not big on the red.I had red interior on my 87 iroc back in the day and I didn’t like it. For the foxbody for me needs to be black or gray but each to there own. I think brew2l built some very nice foxbody’s and with his gray car that red will probably look pretty classy. Love the channel brew2l my fav foxbody channel. Keep er goin brother! I’ve learned a lot from you.

Dude before I did my 86 I had like 4 or 5 different canyon red's in the car...some was sun fade and other's were someone spray painting blood red with runs and oil spots where they didn't clean good...
That porno red seems to be a popular colour in late 80s my I owned two foxbody with that colour lol 😂

Brew2l, What's the correct red color for 87? I keep getting told Scarlett but then a different one. New to the 87-93 cars otherwise I'd know by heart...like the 83-6 canyon red.
How did that turn out on that tweed. I have a super clean 89 with the red tweed but noticed the top of the rear seats are faded
