Coming to NRC, CAA, NPR, every country in the world needs its government of the day to collect all necessary data of its citizens and residents for the purpose of policy making, internal law and order and National security and other administrative purposes.
Coming to BJP being racist, as far as granting citizenship to persecuted minorities from the 3 neighboring countries, this has been the policy and demand from the time of Mahatma Gandhi post independence.
And I believe no party is secular. Every party is playing politics by creating vote bank by misusing the diversity in our society into divisive forces. When national policies are formulated considering a group of people and not on the basis of well being and benefits of an individual citizen, then the policy is flawed at the inception.
We are totally on a different level of understanding if you disagree to the fact that successive congress and left government allowed illegal economic immigrants from Bangladesh to settle in India and were given all necessary documents for inclusion of their names in voter’s list. Even Mamata Banerjee was opposing to this till she was not the CM.
And even if you disagree to my notes stated above; please pick any country in the world (which we as Indians wish our country should be) and you will find the government of that country is the custodian of information and data pertaining to its citizens and residents. Sadly, in our country every issue is politicize to the extent that the implement introduced become impotent and ineffective ; Adhaar is a case in point. The UPA government, under Nandan Nilekani introduced Adhaar. Yet due to selfishness of common people, relentless misinformation by media houses and political compulsions it was merely made to a toothless document for identity of an Individual. To add more mockery to it, the state governments issued Adhaar to who ever they wanted to consolidate their vote banks.
Adhaar, if it is implemented in a fakeproof and tamperproof degree, is an instrument which can eradicate religion, caste , creed, linguistic and regional affiliation from our polity and political dispensation. This is what the politicians do not want, not a single party. And we the citizens are too selfish to adopt Adhaar because it will require absolute transparency in terms of our sources of income, our properties & assets, bank accounts, our health and education details etc. And we for our selfish interest do not want it. We take the alibi of breach in data security and make Adhaar toothless and ineffective.
We do not want to adopt any change, we do not want to be socially responsible, we do not want to be accountable for our professional responsibilities, accountable for social conducts and interaction; yet we never stop rueing on our outdated and rotten administrative system.
People like you duttaji. Who don't even read this bill and prassing a man who had passed matter in low and interbank riots. So please read the bill before say anything this is very important bill for our future.
We need politicians like this... Who have the knowledge about our country's constitution, not those one who talk in air! Respect for you sir... 🙌
