@@v3jc3ST not really, iracing is super expensive and not everyone wants to play it, me being one of them, also, AC has wayyyy better graphics, compared to iracing, and that's a big plus
A commenter on reddit said that a supposedly credible source in a discord they are in stated that there will be a 2500km^2 open world map of the Nurburgring and the area surrounding it. Including the town, autobahn, sideroads, and more. Idk I'm just saying what I saw, but I am excited if it is true.
That would be amazing but I'm not sure I believe it. FH5 is just over 100KM squared. So we're talking almost 25 times the size of FH5, PLUS other tracks. That's a lot of development, and the games would be over a terabyte on hard drives. I mean I'm down for it if true, I just have a hard time believing it until I see it.
The map size doesn't seem very believable, that's larger than both TDU2 1:1 scale maps combined! And half of The Crew's map which took 7 years to make and is very lacking in detail
I think the attention to detail within the cockpit and the driver's apperal and how he moves his feet is telling us that ACE will give VR an even better experience
I don't have the means to travel, rent a supercar and drive on the best roads all around the world. Being able to do that in Assetto Corsa Evo, in high fidelity, would be awesome. Roads in open world racing games are too wide and are limited to just the location the game is set in.
As Fuji Speedway was shown in the trailer, i guess Japanese cars will follow. As far as open roads go, I think Kunos have noticed that roads like LA Canyons and Shutoko, plus all the touge etc attract a lot of players.
imagine free roaming around the ring, driving through Adenau, past Ventisette and up to the TF entrance to then go for a lap. All in a small open world section, no loading screens no nothing. Car parc populated with cars going through the gates, people sitting in the Devils Diner etc
There's a shot of the porsche cup leaving a garage onto a pitlane. The car turns to the left as it is exiting. Assuming the car is going the right way towards the pit exit, this means that this could be a track that hasn't been shown/confirmed yet. Although with the way it's shot, it's pretty difficult to tell what track it is. Edit: think it's Jerez, there are some spanish flags in the background and the grandstand kinda lines up, also the pitlane goes to the left
Seeing how TDU Solar Crown failed to live up to its predecessors, this is their chances to attract TDU fans by giving them what SC promised but failed to deliver, I'm getting TDU1 vibes from this trailer, a celebration of car culture in a grounded realistic 1:1 scale open world with character customization and an emphasis on driving, not just racing.
This is by far the most detailed video analysis for this trailer. I am very impressed, You got my sub. Really would love to see massive multiplayer free roam tracks or maps like. I doubt it, but it would be cool. Still looking for something like TDU1
I think the "driving" aspect has been missing in most sims and even simcades. The option to just drive a beautiful road car on a regular road with some beautiful landscapes. No racing, no police chase. Just realistic driving. I would love to see that, even more so in a down to earth setting like the Eifel region. I have very little interest in driving in Hawaii or some canyon region again that we have seen so many times.
If the AC engine handles excellently like AC1, if it performs and looks great, if it as flexible as AC1 then the sky is the limit for Kunos, they'll only be held back by how much content they can release. AC has never been as busy & there has never been a better time to offer a simple facelift product. Everyone will buy it if it does what AC1 does but slightly better.
I haven’t watched the video when commenting this but it could be like in assetto corsa 1 where you could drive around the nordshleife car park. Maybe this game is similar but just more area to drive around. It could be that they are actually taking ideas from fans and mods giving us what we want with proper freeroam
