He narrated The Outer Limits and a fair few documentaries so he clearly had a talent for this. He was also great as Kahless. It's a pity he never returned to the role, he would've fit right in a few episodes of DS9.
Zaira Vblog elsewhere on TH-cam has this too and both of your copies have audio skips in the exact same spots. Did you get this from them or is the original audio just messed up?

I'm pretty sure I read this book back in the day.
My only complaint about the story is that Picard should easily be able to come and go from the empire at this time.

I'm honestly not sure.. I made this video from audio on my computer and I have a copy of the original audiobook..
