Not to mention the life's work of Peter David, New Frontier, which he began in the 90's and finished in 2015 from a hospital bed. I don't include James Swallow with the two of them because by all accounts he was suckered into participating, and had the good sense to answer "No!" before Mack and Ward spent ages gaslighting him into it. But many of the bestselling authors that wrote these novels have since moved on to other things. The party is truly over.

I don't think Q sending Picard to meet the Borg brought them to Earth. I think they were answering the message sent to the Delta Quadrant from Archers time and were already heading to Earth. Q just let the Federation know they were on the way, giving them 2 years to prepare. Result was that a fleet was waiting for the cube when it arrived, not un undefended Earth.

That is indeed what it was changed to, some 7-12ish years later or so. Which kind of changes a lot of the premise. Kind of makes Q the good guy. At some point Q also mentions to Q about not pissing off the Borg, always did wonder what that was about. If Q actually fears the Borg.
It’s straight up just both. They were headed there already, then a federation ship that shouldn’t be able to arrive where they are does just that, and now they suspect more advanced tech than what is really present. Like that’s straight up the answer.

Dude noo, I was expecting so much from this. The worst book so far from me. No weight to anything. If u mess up just replay the level until u get it right, like a video game. And I was expecting the morale lesson at the end where Q lets everyone die and teach the cadet that we can't save everyone, that we must hold on to the good memories and all that star trek thing. But no. Just a cheap ending to please everyone. Hated it!
I’m sorry, but I’m laughing my ass off reading this! Star Trek Borg is a video game! This production is an audio drama based off of the story from the game, and as such, plays out like one. Look it up sometime. It’s an FMV computer game, I think this audio will make more sense with the added context.
@@PanikGrafik You could actually play it on TH-cam back in the day with the old annotation system. I honestly don’t even know if those videos exist anymore since Google deleted that feature. Between this and Star Trek: Klingon they were quite enjoyable. I’m glad you’re enjoying it!

Yeah, fair enough, like a video game. I had the same thought. But the audiobook is well produced many people will enjoy this.
