Hello Penn, I've been having quite a lot of stews during this winter cold snaps, I do my stews very similar to yours with a few slight differences, I don't have dumplings and I don't use beer, I add garlic, tomato puree', Worcester sauce at the beginning, then after pressure cook ends I put the saute back on and ad corn flour and some gravy granules to thicken to taste, serve up with some French stick or crusty bread, just the job for comfort and warmth when it's cold both inside and outside.
Hi Penny and Steve, You certainly cannot beat a good old stew through the autumn/winter/spring time, I add all the ingredients except the mushrooms but I might at some stage BUT I do put in mine a tin of baked beans a tin of marrowfat peas and a tin of cannellini beans beautiful, and I made the last one in the 15 in 1 and it was fantastic, Take care.
hi penn i have just got my 15in1 and think that this might be the first thing i will be using it looks yummy. have you cooked a beef joint in this yet, i would like to know if it came out tenderand not chewy . would love any help in this regard
