Hi chris, absolutely love the video. I wonder something. On 6:40, you mentioned you are putting a preset on to make voice more vibrant. What is that preset actually, and how it's been made?(absolute beginner here)
Strange that the mic actually works only with capturing video or screen capture, but does not work on the iPhone within apps such as riverside. Any one got this to work in any podcast recording apps?
Okay, got me interested because I need a dual mic haha. So, that other brand, with having recordings on the build in storage? Or cheap gear that works well?
I highly recommend it. I have the wireless go II as well which are obviously better, but nothing beats the convenience of these little J12’s. you won’t regret it!
Hello! Just ordered mine recently because of this video. I want to say that your video and the way you test it is just wonderful! Audio sounds great. Just want to ask what preset did you use for it to sound so full and crisp like that? Thank you!
I just adjust the EQ to my voice - it’s a preset that I use for my own voice haha. Literally copy and paste my adjustments. If you record yourself talking for a minute and mess around with the EQ you’ll find something that works :)
@@chrismeetschris hey man. How do you adjust presets. I ordered these snd I have same issue. Voice is very low and exactly what you said they sound like right from the box. Could you please explain how to adjust presets? I am using i phone 13 pro max
@@chrismeetschris In what software are you adjusting EQ settings? In an app on iPhone, or are you importing the video and using a pro software to adjust audio?
Hands down a major improvement for the audio, definitely a no-brainer for people who use their iPhones for vlogging and you get 2 mics! IMO the reverb on the audio for outdoor shots is a little jarring. For indoors I think it's perfect.
Do the come with dead cat wind blockers at all? And haven't heard that take on bikes before. That they are killing the planet by making cars idle. lol. There seems to be a missing piece to that logic, like maybe ride a bike more often yourself? ;) Anyway, great review!
I don’t think they do have deadcat options, you might be able to DIY some though, haha. I appreciate you seeing the humour in my comment as opposed to just blindly getting mad :) 🤝
nice video! Just wondering if I can use this to just record the sounds instead of filming on my phone to get the sound? if you know what i mean. if there's a voice only app or some sort.
Hey mate, first off - great video! Definitely convinced me to make the purchase for a cheap and easy wireless mic in the gym. You mentioned a preset and I couldn't help but notice the difference - Absolute rookie question but do you mind sharing how you do this?
That sucker is hot. Levels are hot Sounds decent. I bought 1 months ago and haven't unboxed it yet since I haven't been shooting much and definitely not from my phone. I bought it cus I couldn't believe how cheap it was compared to other options. Probably could use a dead cat. I bought a Hollyland Lark M1 for 4 or 5 times more and thought was a deal at the time. That uses a trss connecter so I can use that with my Sony ZV1 or Canon M50 for interviews or what ever. Anyway not bad for the money.
very cool, and ya traffic has gotten stupid. all the work on Broadway hasnt helped either. my question for you is would that mic for on a gopro? if you had the type C version? also #smallcupgang
Have you experienced one mic is significantly louder than the other? I’ve tried resets, turning noise reduction and reverb off. Still one mic is louder than the other
I did the same thing. I own the DJI system which is great to pair with a nice set of lav mics for pretty much any situation, but I sometimes want to grab something and go. And that is where I could not resist this for ..... wait for it... $39.95 So even if it's dog dumps, can't go wrong. So happy to get these as they plug in better when using with the DJI Osmo and I know I'm going to love them for those special times when I just need to plug in and go, no nonsense.
If you’re complaining about being stuck in traffic, remember that YOU are the traffic. It’s on you…. Do something about it and get out of your car. As many progressive cities around the world have found, if you remove access for cars, put in bike lanes and expand pedestrian access, you create a more attractive environment for people, improves access and increases commerce. It’s a better environment for business and people to enjoy. It comes down to how design it. Or do as had been done for the last century, build more roads and you get more cars that require more roads to attract more cars so your build more roads and drive humans out to sit in steel boxes isolated from each other.
You know what else those bike cities have in common? EXCELLENT PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION. Fix that, then take away the roads. the endless construction of nothing and blocking roads has really done wonders for this city… I’m all for the cities that have bike lanes, but This city uses “bikes” as a way to destroy the roads. So until they fix the real problem which is LACK OF reliable, SAFE, efficient public transportation - I don’t want to hear it. Roads were built for cars, not bikes. So have some balls, fix the real problem, THEN remove the roads which were built for cars.
@@chrismeetschris actually no, roads were not built just for cars. Roads have been around for hundreds of years and bikes have been around since 80 years before cars. It’s cars that are holding up cars. But I can speak for the complete transport infrastructure of Vancouver. Cars should only be a part of it. In my city, Brisbane, Australia, there are a lot of roads and cars. I ride by bike the 8km to the city for work every day, rain, hail or shine. Almost half is on bike paths along the river. I have bus and train options at my doorstep I could use or I could drive which would be stupid, one person sitting in a car taking up all that space on the road when my bike takes little space and few resources. As a photographer I think I have a heightened awareness of environment. There also a ferry right to my building but it’s round about journey is way to slow. The bike journey is fastest in time out of the car and public transport options. People sitting in cars, mostly glumly on their own, just bows my mind. I’ve parked my bike, feeling fresh and alive and grab a coffee outside my work to start the day while the car people haven’t even arrived in the city. I know that because my lazy neighbour leaves around the same time in their car. All I can do is laugh at the stupidity. And I carry my camera in my backpack and sometimes stop for street photos along the way. Who has the good life? Me or that person stuck in their car ? 😂
@@shred3005Roads have existed for tens of thousands of years before either bikes or cars. If you don't wanna be an entitled, disingenuous bike cult fuckwit, the *current* road infrastructure was built almost exclusively for and by the mass adoption of automobiles.

Best review of the Ulanzi wireless mic
Thank you!
DUDE this is revolutionary!!! I have vlogged with my phone from day 1 on the Tube, but the audio... this has totally changed my life!!!
Great review! One question I have about these: when using both mics, do they record to separate channels or do you just get a mix?
Using this set for my Dji mini 3 pro drone recordings. It's really a good device. Works perfectly
Brother what's preset name of video, i like your video colour grade..
I think their great for vlogs 100%. For $60 you can’t argue with the audio quality, love that it’s light weight too.
Also - need more TG content
