This is not a friendship, Pakistan sold the Gawadar to China because Balochistan anyway wants to separate from Pakistan. So Pakistan did this strategic move by making the Balochistan conflicted area.

This is part of the initiative to use gwadar as a military base for the Chinese. It's not a gift but reassurance that China will use the port for military installations and trade routes.

Yes it was also the language of Bangladesh but then it isn’t any more and no negative affects on Bangladesh for having their very own national, natural and historic language of Bengali as their national language, and rightly so, stop pushing Urdu down peoples throats and learn to live and let live, for those too concerned with Urdu or Hindi tgey can always go to the Ganga-Jamuna (Yamuna) where apparently it is their national language and mother tongue.

Gwadar is a small city, and it's economical activity is mostly related to the sea port. So, 14,000 square meters is the right size for it, for many years. It is correct to call it an engineering marvel because of the modern design, wonderful architecture, latest facilities and great geographic setting. The IGI Terminal is in the Indian capital of New Delhi, so it has to be large. But at Gwadar, a very large airport would be out of place, like an elephant in an aquarium. Here, we have this wonderful modern engineering gem, which will facilitate many remarkable local and regional developments. 🇨🇳 🇵🇰

If we step back and look at just the factual picture, this is indeed a modern gem of a little airport that is capable of handling all the air traffic through Gwadar. It is not intended to compete with Dubai or even Karachi or Islamabad. If/when they feel the need to have a regional hub here, they can build another terminal for that purpose, which I hope would also be of modern design for its time. This shiny new airport is just for the civil aviation needs of the next few decades, and it is great for that. In combination with sea, road and the envisaged rail links, it is well positioned to meet the logistics requirements for local and regional economic develipment. 🛬✈️🚢🛥️⛵🚞🚃🚚🚗🚙🛵🏍️🚲🚁🛸

Who exactly is Gwadar Airport intended for? Given that the average number of daily flights in Pakistan is only around 37, it raises questions about the real necessity and target audience for such an infrastructure. Moreover, could you explain in detail why the CPEC initiatives were shifted from Balochistan to Punjab and Sindh? There were substantial developments like major motorways built for it in these regions while it was originally intended for Balochistan, yet there still seems to be uncertainty around projects in Balochistan.
