Maybe the depth of the drill chuck threw you off. I like that though. I have a mini mill and I can use that idea if I want to turn anything up to my largest collet size or the 1/2" drill chuck.

since we converted from inches to metric, l found i make a lot less mistakes with my measuring, why some countries have not converted yet is beyond me

@@debeeriz I have to work in both systems. I wish we would just pick one. metric does make way more sense to me.
