The funniest part was when they criticized Obama's handouts in one breath, then admitted they're all on Medicaid in the next.

You are automatically enrolled in medicare when you turn 65 and if you have low assets then they automatically put you into medicaid program... And maybe you guys forgot that under the ACA as passed by congress it is illegal not to have insurance. AKA; Brandy has no choice in the matter.

pointing out ignorance is not disrespectful. If you thought 2+2=5 and someone tried to show you that it's actually 4, is that being disrespectful? A lot of this stuff goes beyond simple political opinion. You can have your own opinions, but you can't have your own facts. When it's been demonstrated time and time again that birtherism is a lie born out of racism, and yet you still believe it. It's not opinion, you're just wrong. When you rail against gov't assistance, yet you take them yourself, you're not only wrong, you're a hypocrite.

This show is one of the most genuine things out there. I live in the New Orleans area and I have a lot of friends in Chalmette, and even sometimes drive there regularly for rehearsals with band mates who live there. Yes, we are a backwards state, but I'm glad Sarah Silverman is showing people without judging them. Just as they are. It's refreshing. Yes, these people are hypocrites on handouts, but I was shocked when most of them were totally against bigotry towards gay people. I'm almost to the point of hatred of anyone who ever voted for Trump. This show helps me see that some of these people just don't know any better. It's sad, but I don't think it's necessarily their fault if they aren't equipped with the intellect to comprehend economics, national and global politics, geopolitics, science etc.
It's not that they aren't equipped with the intellect, it's that they didn't get an education. It's not the same thing.

The older gentlemen seemed to be pretty open minded and reflective about the issues. Some of the other people seemed to be projecting ideologies. It’s sad that people still just believe the same lies that have been disproved many times. What I like about this show is that Sarah doesn’t go down the route of Sasha Baron Cohen and make fun of them. She actually listens and treats them with respect and it shows.
