The last time I was asked my phone number I rattled off my social security number. Then I remembered a minute later that it wasnt my phone number but couldnt remember what number it was. Then I had to ask the kind young lady at the desk to help me find my number on my phone. Im 44. And I was trying to get an appointment to have my eyes checked. The amount of old I felt in that moment was overwhelming. 😬 Im crying because this is such relatable content.

My wife had Alzheimer's with dementia. She never soiled herself. In fact, she became obsessed with going to the bathroom. Sometimes she acted as if she had to go every 15 to 20 minutes. Most of the trips nothing happened other then her wasting a lot of toilet paper.

The thing about older people not remembering things, is that people in their 20's also don't remember things, but no one pays attention because they're in their 20's. Memory is fluid. Sometimes you remember things clearly, sometimes less clearly - but it cycles around again. When you have consistent memory issues, that's the time to start questioning... :)

Evidently it works out to: a naughty nuisance.
(In Ireland) "There are two pronunciations of ‘bold’, each with a different meaning. When rendered as ‘bold’ (as in ‘gold’) it means ‘naughty’, even ‘bad’ or ‘reprehensible’. When Edna O’Brien’s books were banned in Ireland, (and sometimes burned) because of their frank sexual content, Edna was often referred to as ‘that bold hussy’.
When pronounced ‘bould’ the word takes on a different hue: it now means ‘great’ or ‘terrific altogether’ as in ‘the bould O’Donohue’.
The word is also occasionally used in its standard English way to mean courageous, such as in Bold Robert Emmet." (from the - Irish Post - web page article)
I agree about the idea of a stump as something that's in the way or a nuisance. They are easy to trip over, can't be plowed around, etc.

The best thing about Sarah's counterargument is that it's self-defeating. The reason you don't remember your partner's number is much simpler than the fear that feeds it. You don't remember it out of convenience because it is so accessible elsewhere.

Things we would have to go to a library for and scour for answers can now be found near instantly, and so we can absorb information much faster. It's a new era of education across the globe. But only for those who use it that way. You choose to use your cellphone as an excuse to not use your brain more instead of as a portal for knowledge and growth. Many of us don't. As you get older you develop a stronger memory dump. You learn how to let information leave your mind better. It creates this small paranoia that your going to lose mental functioning. The whole other part about the wheelchair is hilarious.

Old man rant against technology incoming. Apparently our reliance on technology is shrinking the size of our cerebellums. From notes on our phones, to GPS, and everything in between, we are using our brains less and less. Soon the only thing we'll be able to do is leave dumb, rude comments on TH-cam comments.

Off-topic for the video but not the entire interview...pro-wrestling's version of the Washington Generals are called jobbers.
Surprisingly, this wasn't fact checked during the interview lol.

I have seen her on Instagram, dunno if she filters her pics, but oh boy she looks way older in this one. Nothing wrong with that, just an observation.
