No. The castle you mentioned that the queen lives in is not correct. The Queen of Denmark lives in a palace called Amalienborg Castle and is much larger. The castle you mentioned is called Rosenborg Castle. This is where the crown jewels and the Queen's army belong. But otherwise I hope you enjoy your stay 😊

Best time in DK is late Juli - first of August. The summer can get hot. Else mid-May to June, all the trees are fresh green, all of Danmark is green.

I like your approach to the places you visit. It is not just educating on different cultures but for us, who watches, it is glimpse into how you see the local culture from a visitors eyes.
If you rather see Tivoli in summer, it is very crowded. But if you don't mind the damp and grey season - you should come earlier in december and experience Tivolis Christmas Market. (Julemarked i Tivoli).

Well actually the church tower may be a - little scary, going down again, as if your feet slides, you have a feeling of being able to fall out!!! Being a roof the steps of course are able to let the water slide off.

And the water in the harbor is clean enough to be open for bathing, nearly all over but also at special pools, witch are made for it. We also have a bridge only for walkers and people on bikes, over the harbor.

OK, I am glad to see that the (and everything went wrong), was not so serious as I first feared.
I am happy to see that you did not get an unwanted experience with our 'free at point of service' healthcare.
Hope that you will get the chance to return to Denmark at some point, maybe during Summer and maybe also to experience more than just Copenhagen.

Copenhagen is beautiful and there are many things to do and see... When I visited with my family the tower was too busy and waiting time were up to 2 hours. We did visit Ti-vo-li with the emphasis on the first syllable ;-) 🙂 Another cool spot to check out is the Bridge.. between Denmark and Sweden. It is a miracle of engineering!
