I love that you took the time to go to Harry's Place and get a proper danish sausage instead of the touristtrap hotdogs from DøP on Strøget, that you see in every other youtube vacation video from Copenhagen!
I call BS on the Hotdog being for Tourists. Most Danes prefer there's the same way. Between a bun and fully loaded❤❤. Get the fried one 😊. The red ones are boiled and mostly for Kids (more or less 🤣). ❤ your VLOG !! Happy Travels...
Its pretty much 50/50 on what Danes prefer. I feel like the people that often go to "pølsevogne" are the ones that prefer a good sausage and since some of the best sausages are too large to properly fit into the hotdog they will simply eat them together with bread instead. Also a lot of people get pølsemix, bøfsandwich or ribbenstegssandwich.
Most common hotdog is the French style that has the baguette style bread with the hole for the sausage and sauce and no toppings. But that's mostly because you can get it more places, I'd say at the sausage carts they are sold pretty much 50/50, maybe with a little bit more of the open ones, and then the third option with a sausage or two with bread on the side.
Nice trip you had, iam Danish and live in Nyhavn.. you did some good thing here but we so much more... hope you had a nice trip... Reffes is wery good, best relaxing marked i the world i thing...
Bullshit! Apart from Hans Christian Andersen, The "Brunsviger" is among the BEST thing FYN has provided to DK 😊! I live in CPH, (but from Jutland). I ❤ Brunsviger !! But yeah! What there getting isn't a real "Brunsviger" 🙄
@@KHValby I lived in Copenhagen for over 20 years before I found a place that made brunsviger the original way (Nordisk Brød on Holmbladsgade). Once I wanted a brunsviger for my birthday, I had to contact 5 bakeries before I found one that agreed to leave out the cinnamon. It turned out pretty good.
That brunsviger has nothing to do with a real brunsviger. The topping should be dripping and sticky in the same time so you would need several wet wipes to clean yourselves up. ;) I'm glad you enjoyed our lovely city. I like to watch these videos to see, how other people from around the world experience it. It also inspires me to go out and visit new places I may not have known about. They pop up all the time.
Ohh the Brunsviger should be far less bread and way more sugar/butter mixture. Also try the Butter Burger at Gasoline. When I got it in Tivoli it was absolutely dripping butter in the best way possible. Also also Kardemomme snurrer from Juno should be the best. It's not to my taste, but people from outside Denmark at work swear by them.
simon seems like a good guy, and zoe is a a stunning looking lady, she is so effervescent she is intelligent gorgeous and sweet, love watching you guys
I think Simon would enjoy a burger from Shake Shack. Come to NY guys you will love the burgers. I haven’t been to Copenhagen but if I ever go I will definitely try gasoline grill.
cinnamon rolls are very much danish, but they are called" kanel snegl" in danish, meaning cinnamon snails. Many danish classics are getting new more english "friendly" names..
Just FYI, there are no pastry shops in Europe that would ever want to emulate American cinnamon rolls. It might be rolled, and it might have cinnamon in it, but it will always be based on the real thing, not the American one
Really Gasoline Grill one of the best burger places in Europe 😂. You must be joking. It’s gotten a lot of hype that’s true, but the burgers are not very good and it’s not even among the best in Copenhagen.
People will never fully agree on which burger is 'best", but it also doesn't really matter. There are lots of great burgers out there and we really liked Gasoline Grill! It depends on what kind of burger you're looking for. Which burger place would you recommend?
The food looks delicious 🤤 enjoy guys!
Thank you! 😊

It was definitely worth it!

Thank you! Yes, we also don't really believe that story, as hot dogs are way too delicious for that 😁
I often take a hotdog. Usually with raw onions. I would say that the main difference between a god dog and a not so good one, is the bread.
It's definitely missing syltede agurker 😅

Loved the tour - such a cool city! I'd also love to go to gasoline grill some day, the burger looks great!
Haha yeah, we'd almost take the 5h train to Copenhagen just for the burger 😁

Yeah, really one of the best food markets we've been to!
Love to Denmark and Copenhagen from Sweden!

Awesome video! Which month did you film this?
Thank you for another great video!
Thank you, glad you enjoyed it! 😊
that Brunsviger is a crime against every other region of Denmark xD
A tasty crime 😁

@@KHValby I don't know anyone from Fyn who make a good brusviger - they are all from Copenhagen

I came here for your food tour of Copenhagen. I've subscribed because Zoe's raised left eyebrow is cute.
Talk about a great video, I am just washing it before I ate so that is not good LOL thank you for taking us on your journey
Glad you enjoyed the video! 🤗 We had a lot of fun filming this one - the food definitely helped! 😋

You 2 did a fantatic job in this video. I am Danish and I am very impressed.🎉
Thank you! 😊
Love your video!
Thank you! 😊
Broens Gadekøkken is also a very nice street food place 🤩
As a fynbo, that Copenhagen version of a brunsviger made me cry !!!
Samme her 🥺
Reffen is a very cool place
Yes it is! 😎

Brunsviger should NOT have cinnamon in it. The Copenhagen bakeries continue to defile this amazing pastry.
I agree, and I am from brunsviger island.
انا استمتع في مشاهدتكم. انتم نكهة الحياه
Hey beautiful people, I enjoy following you. Especially in Thailand. When will you visit our country?❤❤❤❤
Thank you, hopefully again very soon!

We've never been to Shake Shack, but would love to try their burger and NY is high up on our list! 😊
Love you 🗣️. Come to San Francisco

The turist hotdog is not true, im danish and have been eating them my whole life 🤤
When will you come to Turkey. Simon?
We'd love to visit Turkey again - one of our first trips together was to Istanbul and we had a great time! 🙂
@@ZoeandSimon Yes, Istanbul is beautiful, but come to Izmir, it is also beautiful, even more beautiful than Istanbul in our opinion.

Harrys Place is unfortunately not very good any more.
Rather go to the sausage stand close to Åmarken Station in Hvidovre (suburb to Copenhagen)
You managed to go around Copenhagen and not eat a single Danish thing😂
