    Usetool's warnings
    - We advise never replacing just one shock absorber, to make sure you drive we the most balanced vehicle possible.
    - Be careful during the spring compression stage, it may be risky and requires careful attention. Fix the tool in a vice, this will make it easier to use.

I think your torque tightening data for the strut to knuckle bolt/nuts is incorrect. Check with Peugeot service box. I think you will find its rather different.

Would the procedure be the same in a RCZ?
Also is there a link to the spring compression tool?
Very very nice clear and informative video!

Where on the chassis have you placed the jack in the video?

@@markduffy9475 Personally I placed the garage jack on the spots for the factory jack, however both front connections gave way and folded in to the chassis also left rear side caved in... Yes I did put a plywood board or a piece of wooden plank with a cut for the original jack points, however when the chassi caved in the jack slipped off those and went flying (well one time it flew in under the passenger side and crashed through plastic and stuff and came to a creaking doomsday-ingly halt stressing me to get the car up and get it down...) Notice that some spots that looks like they are beams/metal points that could support a piece of wood/plywood to even the pressure for a garage jack is plastic garbage. I STILL dunno how I am supposed to jack my newly purchased family member up...
This summer I gonna get her up and cut away a fat square and weld on some thick plates with strengthening beams so she can get jacked up!!!
(Praying I wont fry all the electronics since I'm neither a mechanic, electrician nor an educated welder... at least I welded some but that parts without any schooling nor common sense)
So my friend, I dunno how to advice you. Did you get an RCZ too?
Everything so beautiful on this car, why did they skip working jack points or anything rust prevention whatsoever underneath?!? I'm confused...

@@helturflippad I have 308 GTI 270, I noticed in this video that they do not use the jacking points, mine are in a sorry state also. It looks from the video that they use part of the chassis but I can't exactly see where. I wouldn't want to risk it without knowing the exact place.

nice video showing how to do it...but unfortunetly you put it back in wrong place....orange rubber , foam pud should be beetwen metal top mount and bearing as you took it down and you put it back behind it....they did unfortunetly same to me and orange buffer damaged my new bearing on booth sides...and i had to replace them booth again...so do me a favoure and when you make guide/tutorial videos just do it right!!
edit, you didnt put rubber circle on a bearing as well, poor!! very poor!

I have the same problem where they placed the orange part under the black rubber not in between at the left front side. It moves freely..I have a squeak noise whenever the weight of the car presses shocks down for example going through speed bump slowly.. the top of the orange plastic is squeezed under the black rubber..
I’m wondering if you had the same kind of noise before fixing it?
