[R151 North-South Line Day Test] SMRT R151 839/840 at NS22/TE14 Orchard

Recorded on 18 May 2024.
The North-South Line (NSL) now finally sees its first Alstom R151 doing its daytime testing on this day, since its first rounds of testing in October 2022. This train was deployed from Bishan Depot (BSD) and was transferred from Ulu Pandan Depot (UPD) the previous day.
In a LinkedIn post by SMRT Corporation, the Alstom R151 was originally scheduled to debut on the NSL in Q1-2024. However, the deadline was never met, and at the time of publication it is already Q2-2024.
Here is one video of it testing in the underground sector, compared to many other videos which show the train at an elevated stretch instead. A unique sight to finally see an R151 in the underground sector of the NSL.
