Steep corn silk in hot water for bladder issues. Tastes nice too.

My favorite way to prepare corn on the cob is to grill it. This method is great in the summertime when you are outside more often and grilling or barbecuing is more frequent for family and friends. And, it's very easy.
Very simple. Soak ears in water for 20 to 30 while waiting for the grill to reach temperature. Then place ears on grill (temp is hot/high), close lid. Turn frequently, maybe every 5-10 min. Let outside become blackened. Then remove from grill, place all ears together on a platter, casserole, or other temporary vessel. They will steam while close together. When ready to eat or use corn, remove the husks. The silks will easily come off along with the husks. Parts of the ears may have blackened a bit. It's all good. It adds some additional flavor. I may take ~20-30 minutes till your corn is done.
This is an easy and effortless way to prepare corn on the cob. Corn needs less time to cook than most people seem to think. Don't over cook your corn. It mostly just needs warming through; charring is added flavor, but not necessary. When I prepare corn on the cob in the kitchen , I'll drop the cob into boiling water and cook for ~2 minutes. Either way, the kernels are crisp and tender. They burst, when bitten, most gratifyingly. Well, that's my 2¢. (This is all in reference to fresh corn.)

GMO only for my family. If it doesn't say GMO free you could be eating toxic corn!
