I'm very glad to have found the "Nina in the Kitchen" channel. Nina has taught me so much, and now how to make fried rice. Let me tell you, I live in Japan, so knowing how to make fried rice from a U.S. point of view is very, very enlightening. Thank you, Nina!

Love this… Im cooking for one but actually always make extra rice just so I have some to do this! I was wondering what the Sesame Oil was that you were using…is it Kadoya? I couldn’t really tell from the video..I’d love to try it! Thanks for this!

Hi. I've got a question for you. It's about sugar and brown sugar. I went to the store. I needed some light brown sugar. All they had was dark brown sugar. I said to myself I have some molasses, I'll just make my own.
My question is let's say you are making a recipe which uses both brown and white sugar like chocolate chip cookies. Instead of using both sugars could you use all white granulated sugar with a little bit of molasses?
To me it seems like a weird question but these days you have to use what you have.
I haven't made the cake you made for me yet, but I'll let you know when I do.

That's a great question. Here's my answer.... at one point if I needed light brown or dark brown sugar, I did exactly what you described. As I make the cookies or cake, I just add 1 to 2 teaspoons of molasses to the bowl for every cup of granulated sugar. I made a video in my tips and tricks playlist about this, but you don't need to make the sugar in advance. You can just add it to the bowl. Does that make sense? If it helps you here is the video from the playlist:

    The Simple Plan Of Salvation.
    King James Version Holy Bible
    John 3:16-17
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
    John 3:18-21
18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
    Acts 16:31
“And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.”
    Romans 10:9
“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.”
    Romans 10:13
“For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
    Prayer of Salvation:
“Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner. I know that I need you. I believe that you died on the cross for me. Forgive me of my sins. I open the door of my heart and life to you. I receive you as my Saviour, come into my life and save me. Thank you for what you did on the cross for me. "Amen.”
