Dunno if it's of any interest to you, but I own a PlayStation 3 equlivant of these long consoles, it's even bigger than this and weighs an absolute ton!!!
I mean considering you practically need a forklift to pick up the first version of the PS3 I can't imagine how much heavier the dev kit must be.

I love saturn that much i own three of them,a georgous machine,better sound,clearer video,more defined and rich colours,cool vcd support and lots of arcade quality peripherals,awesome games .. ps1 ahh .. the cheapo plastic toy that falls out your cerial box in the morning,shaky graphics dull sound,muddy video quality .. a means to an end of a console

It's not the length of the console, but the games you can play with it that really matters. My consoles are perfectly average, but I've never gotten any complaints

That's a very interesting Looong variation of the Sega Saturn we know and love, although i still prefer the 'vanilla' short version of it. Wouldn't be too practical to have 3 foot long Saturn in your living room now, would it? But for Saturn developers, that was never an issue. So many puns about long things in this video, LoL. Thanks a lot for showing such a rare, obscure and certainly long Sega console.
