What a fun episode 🎉 We were smiling all the way through it. Excellent job on the videography, content, including Les Frenchies! How fun was that. It brought back so many of our experiences of our recent trip to Paris, Normandy, St. Michel, Bordeaux. The people, the breads, the markets, the bikes, the traffic! We laughed about being the first in at every restaurant. We knew we had acclimatized when after a couple weeks in France we realized we 0:02 were finishing up dinner at 9:30pm. The streets and cafes were all full of people as we walked back to our apartment and went to bed 😂

Loving the Paris shows! We've had the good fortune to spend a few weeks in an apartment in Paris a few times and really loved it. But we never went to a "grocery store" to shop. We just shopped the various shops on our street... the Boulangerie, the fromagerie, the charcuterie, the wine shop, the fresh produce stand, et voila! Dinner. However, we were in the 6th Arrondissement. So, pretty much the center of town.
We love your series... We stayed in that big red hotel near Eiffel in the Beaugrennel area to celebrate our 41st anniversary in 2023...so we loved it every time you walked across "our" bridge. Thanks for sharing !!!

We just entered the address into Google and clicked Metro and Google have us all the options. 5 min walk to the Metro, get on the M9 and then 8 min walk to destination. We preferred the bus over the metro and the C mostly because it was a train and much less crowded. Dropping down those stops made it much easier to see which way it was going so we got on the correct side.
It's amazing how things change from generation to generation. I was in Paris in 1979, and no one would speak English even if they could once they knew I was American. Can we get the Cooking Instructions for the Bread and measuring sizes as well it looked amazing and quick to make : ) Great episode glad you are having fun.
A few years ago, the wife and I were in England and went to the Tower of London. I checked it out beforehand, and we did the exact same thing as you guys. We got in line a half hour before they even opened, and there were at least 100 people in front of us already. I told my wife that we were going straight to the crown jewels, no detours! She kept trying to veer off on the way there, and I kept her going. We walked right up to the building through all the serpentine ques and right up to the vault where the jewels are kept. We had to wait a couple of minutes, and then we were in and spent a long time admiring everything. A few hours later, the line to get in must have been half a mile long. You would literally stand in line for hours before you ever got in the building. By the way, we did the same thing when we went to Yellowstone! No lines at the biggest attractions was awesome!
During my first time at Versailles, 2014, I did the same thing. Headed straight to the Hall of Mirrors, with a young lady following me. When we got there only two staff members were there. The young lady and I took multiple pictures using each others iPhones with images of only one of us in the hall. After 20 minutes folks started coming in & I headed back to the entrance for my walk through. Same thing happened at Marie Antoinette's Hamlet. I had the whole area to myself for about 15 minutes. Safe Travels.
I took a screne shot of recipe, 2 tbs of salt seems like a lot but i can barely cook let a lone bake. I did cut back on it and the bread is in the oven now. Can't wait to see how it turns out.
I suppose that crowd size greatly depends on the time of year. We last went in mid May and there were no crowds in either Paris or London. Great weather as well!
KYD, it is so EFFORTLESS watching the entire video! Great camera work and angles! We watched Les Frenchies before we took and filmed our trip to Paris as well! 😁 Thanks for the great video!
You two are too cute. I look forward to the day when your paths meet up. Perhaps not in Paris but when you're back on the road in that Airstream. Wishing you happy traveling.
This is an amazing trip. Loved this video, showing more of the everyday life. Showing how to get around, shop, and chat with the locals. What fun getting to bake German bread. Raclette dinner, so good. We’ve done the Raclette a couple times for girlfriend dinner. Thank you for sharing the bread making books. So sad, only one more week and my trip ends…where are we off to next? ❤
We're in FL for a week or so and then back to AZ for Thanksgiving and to pick-up the Airstream and drive across the county again. We'll spend the winter in the east and have a few trips planned.
on a side note, even though french people tend to eat at later times than english/american people, they do have a snack or an apéritif (apéro)after school or work, so it's not like they're starving themselves from lunch to dinner lol
****You ruined me with this video (which I loved, by the way). I was in Paris, Normandy, and Chamonix in May, 2022 and I loved it! What an experience! And now, I feel homesick for it. I'm ruined. And I have you to thank for it. Truly, thank you. It was good to see it again and I enjoyed the video!

I went to Le Cordon Bleu in Pasadena CA on 2001, and just finally got to visit Paris a few weeks ago, everyone was amazing! Food, sites ..I mean I cried and smiled a lot!! Never felt threatened..but we also walk with gumption..and don't make ourselves a soft target. Always greet and be respectful..your golden ..and yes the market was a huge hack. We would get a bowl of basically charcuterie , bread and wine for a great price!

Would love to check out those bread books! I couldn't get the name of the fantastic baker to look them up. Drop it in Trish if you have a moment. Thanks! Joyeux Noël!
I think the 16th is a great option for a lengthy stay. Very typical bourgeois Paris, if that's your vibe. I went to college there and I love it. It's definitely not the suburbs, though. It was at one time, but it's been a part of Paris for 150 years. Wonderful hot chocolate at L'Aero at Place de Passy. The 15th is a great choice too!

After 20 minutes folks started coming in & I headed back to the entrance for my walk through. Same thing happened at Marie Antoinette's Hamlet. I had the whole area to myself for about 15 minutes. Safe Travels.
Watched for the first time .... LOVE LOVE LOVE! Great channel.
I took a screne shot of recipe, 2 tbs of salt seems like a lot but i can barely cook let a lone bake. I did cut back on it and the bread is in the oven now. Can't wait to see how it turns out.
The people in Paris were so nice and kind!
You guys are so blessed to live this life and I love your channel
I suppose that crowd size greatly depends on the time of year. We last went in mid May and there were no crowds in either Paris or London. Great weather as well!
Ah, How wonderful! This is what travel is all about. Thanks KYD🇫🇷
So glad I found your channel. Well done but I have to say in San Diego, we have official bike lanes everywhere!
Yes, and in St. Pete too. We were even on them in this episode th-cam.com/video/Fo3VLcbbMbc/w-d-xo.htmlsi=UMGcfHUkmIN80ahA
What an amazing trip and destination - Thanks so much for bringing us all along!
Very enjoyable you two make it so fun.
I am thoroughly enjoying this series! Thx for taking us along.
KYD, it is so EFFORTLESS watching the entire video! Great camera work and angles! We watched Les Frenchies before we took and filmed our trip to Paris as well! 😁 Thanks for the great video!
Thank you 😊
@LesFrenchiesTravel Our pleasure! Thank you BOTH, for all of the helpful tips that you give! 😊
That was so much fun. Thanks for sharing.
Nice vid! So informative and fun! I have been following Les Frenchies! They love dessert!
Love the series, see you next week. I'll be paving the roads with my cheddar in the meantime 😂. Cheers to you and your beautiful friends.
The palace of their side was amazing. The gardens were spectacular. Enjoyed your film. I was there 12 years ago.
The only thing missing was Caleb. Thank you for taking us along. Love your travels.
He was only there 4 days! That kid.
New sub here. I LOVE les French Frenchies! What a lovely meet up! ❤
The Christmas Markets are absolutely Amazing 🎉🙌🤩 All over Europe ❤️ 1 of our favorite places!
Love your Adventure 🎉
****You ruined me with this video (which I loved, by the way). I was in Paris, Normandy, and Chamonix in May, 2022 and I loved it! What an experience! And now, I feel homesick for it. I'm ruined. And I have you to thank for it. Truly, thank you. It was good to see it again and I enjoyed the video!
@@roblebby3765 I know how you feel, I have the same affliction for the Italian series as I’d been there 2 years before and it was soooo remarkable!! I’m now watching a TH-cam couple rehab an old farm they bought in Italy …. And wishing it were me … well, except for all the hard work of course . LOL
What a fun video to watch! Thank you for taking us along!
Yay! More Les Frenchies!!!
😁
Great to see you both again! Very helpful!
these are wonderful I loved your way of showing us Versailles
This is really cool, thank you for taking us along!
I LOVE Les Frenchies channel!!! The BEST food reviews!
Yes, we bought their restaurant list and it was so great!
What a fantastic video of your Paris and France experiences. Thank you for the tips, and the bread recipe.
You two are great! My partner is a chef at ICE in NYC, and we are heading to Paris on Friday for two weeks. When we get there, it's going to be all about the food for us. I hope we bump into you both. We will be the two guys in the Marais eating everything, so look for us! Thanks for all the tips!
Really enjoyed this meeting of two great couples joint forces.
Fun video you two! My husband and I are in Paris for 5 weeks until after the new year... having a fantastic time. We also have gone to the School Of Les Frenchies!
So last year I took single trip as a Canadian in my 20’s who doesn’t speak much French to Paris for a day while visiting London just fell in love with the city. The French people were so warm now In April I am going back I am so excited. Thank you for all your helpful tips. Les Frenchies too I love.
Yep. Totally agreeing with your Versailles Strategy. Lots of people love to see it!
So jealous!!! Love your French series! ❤❤❤
Thanks for a lovely video that brought back my sweet memories of fifty years ago, all so wonderful. Mary Ann, Chicago.

Thanks so much for lifting up a lot of folks spirits after well you all know ❤❤❤
😂 Yes, we are going to watch only travel videos for the next 4 years to preserve our mental health. 😊
I loved seeing some of the other parts of Versailles that I hadn't seen before - the less formal parts - that was cool!
I have really enjoyed this series, thanks for sharing, 😊
As someone who lives in Versailles (pronounced Ver-sales) Kentucky, sometimes the pronunciations don’t always convey very well 😇😇. Loving this series-as always thanks for bringing us along.
Imagine them trying to tour our “castle” like this 😂
This is my first video of yours. I guess YT suggested it because I’ve watched every Les Frenchies video ever published. Really enjoyed this and will check out more of yours.
“This is mine. Don’t even look at it.” 😂😂😂
