    I’m Iranian and I believe Iranian people need the support of western countries to change the regime, without them changing the regime isn’t possible.
    Western countries can support regime change in Iran by accepting Prince Reza Pahlavi as the legitimate leader of Iran, pronounce the Islamic regime in Iran illegitimate, and stop all their deals with the current regime.

    • @paulheydarian1281
      @paulheydarian1281 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +6

      Thankfully, you don't speak for most Iranians. You need to understand that Reza Pahlavi hasn't been to Iran since 1979, he doesn't know that country. He has much less legitimacy than his Swiss Educated, CIA-MI6 installed father. The Iranian people must choose their own destiny without outside intereference.

    • @yogi8010
      @yogi8010 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      @@paulheydarian1281 I speak for most Iranians because I live within them. People of Iran love Pahlavi dynasty and want prince Reza Pahlavi and Shahbanoo Farah Pahlavi back in Iran. Reza Pahlavi hasn’t lived in Iran, because he was forced to leave the country. But he loves and knows the country and people of Iran, because he has been advocating for them over the last 43 years. You can be bitter and call our beloved King MohammadReza Shah Pahlavi names, but he and his father patriots and modernized Iran. Your hateful comment about them, doesn’t change the reality that Iranians love our Pahlavi kings and their family.

    • @moussamohsenzadeh9311
      @moussamohsenzadeh9311 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Sir, last time the West intervened in Iran, we got...the Islamic Republic of Iran. Maybe you should reconsider any western support over the overthrowing of the IRI. States have no friends, only interests. Under the beloved Shah Mohammad Reza Pahlavi, the goal of becoming the 5th worldwide economic power (replacing South Korea in the 1970's) was enough of a threat for these so called '' friends '' to overthrow...their ally, the Shah. Basically, the IRI IS serving the West, by making us miserable and weak, begging to survive. By the way, if the prince comes back on the back of the American power engine, you can be sure that it is not Iran who will be served, but the State Department, the CIA and the White House. This is how it works. The American government does not see other governments as equals, but only as assets or foes. I prefer Iran to pray Allah and found the strength to find a new noble family to institute a new king. Maybe YOU can become king ?
      The Pahlavi family is a great one, on par with the Achemenides and Sassanides, which is very telling. They did our country a great service, but I prefer to keep their name as clean and prestigious as possible for the sake of our national pride and individual inspiration. Reza Pahlavi is way too americanised, weak towards Israel, feminist and pro gay to be considered Iranian. I see him as a '' Los Angeles liberal Iranian '', which for me are not the greatest bunch of humans out there. The same way I consider Italian women from Italy to be way more interesting than Italian-American girls from New York or New Jersey.

    I read that in 2022, roughly 23% of inhabitants in Iran were between the ages of 0 to 14 years, and 40% percent were aged 15 to 35,which would suggest that younger folks are going to be the majority.
    Considering the protests last year when Mahsa Amini died in custody of Iran's morality police I think within the next five years younger people will force positive change. I sure hope so!
    QUESTION: what would happen if your average Palestinian were to speak out and denounce the acts of October 7th, and/or denounce Hamas? Death?

    A nice reference to death toll in Israel Gaza and the US.
    The relative numbers says a lot
    8000 dead in Gaza is like 1,000,000 in the US
    so that makes Israel look bad
    But the number of people that died in Iraq due to US invasion of Iraq who h had nothing to do to do with 9/11 attack was 1,2 millions.
    Which relative to us politician equals 13 millions of Americans

    The timing coincides with the political demonstrations shortly prior, in Israel. And also their miscalculation of our engagements in Eastern Europe. And also the Jewish holidays, and also their perception of increased sympathy for Palestinian militants by parts of the West. The events give Iranian religious leadership, (and other groups) video they can build supercut rhetoric on. That in itself is enough for them to participate at the level they have. The response, while properly bold, is the icing on the cake for trying to homogenise Muslim support. More strategic and educated Muslims aren't necessarily going to agree with Hamas's actions of course. But sheep, whose families are not suffering in Gaza, will.

    05:30 omg. omg. Did you hear that? Due to China's facial recognition features in cars, the Iranian Govt. knows who is and isn't wearing a hijab~? (And whatever else. They probably secretly have China install mics, too.) That is some sick surveillance. It turns out weaponry is the main reason simple civilians everywhere cannot stand up to their government. I know a gun is nothing against an army or tanks or whatever else knocking down one's door, but this does give 'reason' to the American tradition of citizens being able to bear arms.

    Mr. Milani, the rhetoric from the right wing of Israeli society is not all that different from that of the Ayatollahs and Soleimanis of this world.

    I'm not sure things in South Africa have turned out according to what Nelson Mandela hoped for. Crime against white farmers, those that have actually stayed, continue to this day in South Africa unfortunately. It is far from the peaceful nation originally envisaged.

    The Iran of Prime Minister Mohammed mossadegh was rational and national. The Shah imposed on Iran by the United States hegemon and Britain was a horror.

    It's amazing how Milani has not grown in 40 years. He is as un-Iranian as they come. Sure the mullahs should go, but he has no position that supports Iran's national interests.

      He's been hanging around the Hoover Institution for too long. His books and research on the Shah ain't bad, but a younger, less biased scholar could do much better.

    Again, repeat of every fact that every school boy knows in Iran!
    I have a high respect for academic achievements of Dr. Milani, but he has given many opportunities and platforms even in the US Senate to present a solution, rather than repeating the information and he has failed.
    The problem in Iran started in the Summer 1979 when Khomeini cheated Iranians and Western powers and wrote the Iranian Constitution.
    Ayatollah Taleghani disagreed with article 5 of the constitution.
    He was killed and 3 days after his death the article 5 of Vilayet e Faghih was inserted in the Constitution and trouble stated from that day.
    The solution then and now is the Constitution, which must change.
    The Woman Life Freedom Revolution in Iran which started last year and will continue is a protest to article 5, 8 and 110 of the constitution.
    If the narrative of "Changing Constitution" starts in the US Senate, it will have a domino effect and will continue inside Iran without any involvement and interference of anybody outside Iran.

      Quite a big lie. The majority of Iranians are chanting in every public venue they can: “Nah Gaze, nah Lobnan, Janam fadaye Iran”, meaning, Not Gaza, not Lebanon, my life be sacrificed only for Iran (as in Iran the country and not the I R occupiers)! That’s why contrary to the rest of Muddle East, the mullahs, to their chagrin, couldn’t get large numbers of people demonstrating for the Hamas terrorists in their streets. Paris got more Hamas terrorists sympathizers than Iran occupied by godfathers of Hamas/Hezbollah terrorists!!! Lolol
