I liked the idea of storing the vinegar in the Dollar Tree bottle. Nicely done!

True! We don't need a fancy video. I phone is just fine! Old school on a flip camera was just fine too. 😘

Just found this channel looking for gf food stuff. This format is fun and I can feel your excitement! I'm so about a clean lifestyle. We've been a gf family for years. It's also what made me research all the products we were consuming and using. It's amazing what is in stuff, yucky! My daughter uses the Renpure shampoo and likes it a lot. My question is do you paint your nails and if so what brand? My girls (17 &15) like painted tootsies and feel like that's been the hardest thing to find? Thanks, and now off to check out your other channel!!

I like that you showed what you use. How is Doterra about taking something back if you don't like it?

Like Dave says personal finance is “personal”. I do believe living below your means does not equate to measuring your amount of vacations or type of home that you live in to social media or your neighbors. For example, if Christine can afford more expensive mop systems and oils does not mean that you need to go broke buying them. The alternative is to save up for one thing at a time or do without it at all.

well it is tax refund season and I am getting ready to make some bigger one time purches or possibly upping some quality so yes this is the time of year I would be researching natural products and be considering possibly buying some of these types of things that would be a bigger upfront cost like the norwax and deterra I am mostly an avoider of mlms but tax refund season is much bigger than Christmas. this is the first year were I am going to have a fat savings account last year I was practical as I paid bills ahead because I was facing unemployment so in away it was like saving. I am still waiting on the daycare to give me an exact number of how much I paid in childcare last year it was around $4,000 out of my pocket I (get a lot of help from the state) and oregon gives back about 60% of out of pocket based on what I got last year and how much i worked in 2018 vs 2019 I am looking at around $7,000 total so which means I can finally have a couple of grand sitting in my bank account for whatever life throws at me AND a few quality of life upgrades. I am considering getting imperfect foods box delivered I just found out that it is in the area and knowing that you are a town or two over thought i would mention that to you because they didn't offer it in our area the first couple of times I looked it up. it use to be imperfect produce but they added other foods and so they call it imperfect foods and you can totally customize your order I am on foodstamps but now that I have steady income my food stamp amount will be lowered but they gave me a few months it won't be lowered until april but I will still get them. but imperfect foods has a deal for people who are in the income bracket that qualify for food stamps that they give 33% off. as a pedistrian who used insta cart for a season I really really value grocery dilivery. i can shop and I do but and I like riding the bus and getting out in the communty and I love my kids being expossed to diversity they would be sheltered from if I shutled them around in a car. teen girls wearing head coving scarves ride school on our bus route every morning my daughter use to call them princesses there are people of all levels of ablity we see walkers and wheel chairs and blind persons young people old people fancy business people and the homeless. but I do sometimes not like carring a lot of food on the bus the bus service just increased and is much more helpful running until 11 instead of 9 and running on saterdays after 10 years of not running on saterdays and it will add sundays in may. weekend bus service is way less frequent than weekday but it is something when I was looking for work I kept having to say the bus dosen't run on weekends the bus doesn't run on weekends I couldn't get to most jobs. most intry level jobs exepect you to be able to work nights and weekends and if someone has an intry level job they are not likely able to afford a car. technicly I could buy a car with tax return money and then some but I absloutly hate driving and it really isn't cost effective in my book. my point in all that with more people riding the bus it is a little more akward buying a lot of groceries on and transporting it on the bus so the idea of getting the bulk fro imperfect foods appeals to me. for tooth paste I get spry teeth gel and earthpaste. both very clean and safe to swallow which is abslotly esential for me as a mom of kids who are 3 and 4 and can't be trusted to spit out tooth paste properly. I think I mentioned before because I think you come to salem to shop at costco that lifesource and natural groceries sell elderberries and it is very simple to make it into a syrup with raw local honey we sweeten primarly with honey and it might feel like a crazy investment but I have done a lot of shopping around for raw honey and since it never goes bad and is a big chunk of my budget I found a place locally I think it is flying bee they have a set up at the farmers market and I get a 2 gallon bucket for $79.00 yes I will go through that much honey in less than a year. I am sure there is more perfectly pure unfiltered with other things that someone might consider more perfect and maybe your family sweetens with other things we have cut down on our honey useage as it was we could have gone through more than two buckets in a year. but really if I was cutting out more sugar foods and replacing everything with stevia and honey than really that much honey makes since we don't do pb and j we use grind your own peanut butter with the honey and then eat that with apples and or celery. last year we made a lot like really a lot a lot of "honey juice" which is equal parts apple cider vinager and honey delutted heavily in water. my kids liked it a little too much so I had to stop making it and told them I couldn't buy it any more which is somewhat true I stopped seeing it in the store but that was a few months after I stopped buying it and started making it and it is so much cheaper to make but I was getting it for a season at grocery outlet that had a steep discount before I got a steep discount on the honey and my cheapest source of quality honey was no longer on bus routes and my boy was drinking way way too much for the sake of his teeth and his diapers were overflowing because he would drink like two or more 11 oz bottles between when he got home from daycare and when he feel asleep I tried the only one bottle but that boy is persistant so I had to make him forget but since we replaced the baba with a water bottle that he is only allowed to have water in I might be able to re introduce honey juice as a open cup at the table with dinner drink but elederberry lemonade is also a very hand option. mostly I like water for myself and them but I am working on giving them ditantious earth and biokult (a probiotic) so having a little something with flavor as a drink to put those things into is handy. this winter is not nearly as bad as last I think that might be the age and hand washing ablities last winter my son turned two and my daughter was 3 and them being a whole year older and my having a more solid bed time with them. I think it also helped that I figured out a list of go to foods that really require little to no prep or cooking but are real foods has helped icecream or potato chips for dinner happened a couple times a month. I buy hummus or spinach dip once a week and carrots and celery and always have bubbies sour crout and fresh ground pb with raw honey and little applesauces in the house. so now on those days when I am totally spent and would have resorted to pure junk I hand open the container of pb and honey and hand them a spoon. fresh ground pb is $1.99 a pound it is not organic and some people can't do peanuts but we can.
