- I am excited to introduce you to the Ultra-Light Camping Cot by Naturehike. I was hoping Mrs. Claus would get me one this Christmas so I could bring it to the channel and she did.
As a newcomer to camping with cots, I am looking forward to hearing from experienced cot-campers. If you have prior experience with Naturehike's product, share your impressions in the comments below.

I might get get this for my hot tent. Awesome video my friend
Thanks bud and I'm still loving that cot. I'm not sure I'll go back to the ground now. Lol 👍
same..
Those D-rings are good for securing an under quilt for camping below freezing. They're normally used for hammocks but I attach one to the underside of my cot using safety pins and string for camping in a hot tent.
I never thought of using an underquilt with a cot, thanks for sharing my friend !I think I'm going to try that one! 👍

@@LaOwlett Nice.
Thank you, now I have decision
nice video..and I agree this is very comfortable cot, just as comfy as my huge coleman one that takes up half the car!..I've slept on it now 15 days over multi trips..I put my sleeping pad on top when it's colder..the plastic and poles are heavy duty..I wish I could secure my sleeping pad..there are o rings under the mat, not sure what the purpose of those are maybe I could rig them somehow to hold my mat..and I notice that they now have a cotton top quilt now..which I might pick up..I probably wouldnt take this back packing..with limited space..but for the canoe and car camping this is the best
Thank Stephen, I know what you mean as far as comfortable with a sleeping pad on top, it's the closest I've ever gotten to feeling like my mattress at home. If you end up getting the top comforter, let us know what you think. 👍
The cot is comfortable.
I can't wait to use it. 👍
A good night sleep, dry, warm.
See how it holds up in use those plastic clips seem like a weak point. Have fun stay safe.
I hear ya Kenneth, that's def what I'll be keeping an eye on. I hope temperature fluxuations don't effect it's hold and I go plop. Lol 👍
Hi :) So how did it last.
Greetings @@OutdoorAdventureandGear
@@senectarius9685 as if now, it still rocking on and is my fav way to sleep when I'm out. I never knew cots could be that comfy.
@@OutdoorAdventureandGear ok, good to hear. Thx for the quick response:)
What tent is that? I do motorcycle camping solo sometimes and i am looking for a smaller tent like that 😊
This video is on a hammock I've been testing out that is doing great so far.
Thx for making this video. Ive been eyeing this one on amazon for solo camping 🏕️
I was as well , then Mrs Claus was so kind to gift me with it. 👍
Bought one and it arrived today. Cheers brother
Awesome Vinny ! Let us all know what you think , I'm heading out with mine this wknd. 👍
I’m curious to see how this stacks up long term to the Helinox. The price difference is immense and seems like this is an exact copy.
Mine still works and looks like new, time (or uses) will tell. 🤞
I have 4 helinox chairs and this cot. I give this cot an A+. It is freaking solid.Paired with my lost horizon matress it's an amazing combination.
@@DoritosResidue thanks for the comment, it's great to hear from some one with some Helonix gear. I've heard good things about them.
I thought about but I'll just stick with my mat and bag. 4 pounds is way too heavy
I can understand , 4lbz is some weight. For myself after using it, I'd carry it if it was 6lbs lol.
After one second: This is extremely comfortable! Maybe test it for one full night ;)
Lol I plan on it but it is comfortable .👍
@@OutdoorAdventureandGearhow is the cot going?
@@blade1535 Great! I still love it and it's given me some deep sleeps out in the woods.
My traditional coleman cot weighs 20lbs, I would say this is "ultralight" in comparison at only 25% the weight.
It def is to that cot lol is is comfortable ? I've seen the Coleman cots but have never used one.
@@OutdoorAdventureandGear it's pretty nice. Wide for sure. A bit of a chore to set up but pretty nice
...too narrow.....laying on your back your arms hang over sides...or, are supported by hard metal frame.
I don't agree, atleast not with this one, it's my favorite sleep method rt now but I know what you mean. I had sleeping bags that would put my arms asleep when then fell off the pad, but it was 20" wide. Lol
No thanks
Heavy cheap garbage get the helinox lite cot you get what you pay for. 4.8 lbs is no where near ultralight.
I have no doubt the helonix is a great piece of kit, but the Naturehike is not garbage by any means, it extremely comfortable and affordable. The Helonix is only 1lb 12oz lighter and over $200 more in price so it just comes down to preference. For me , under 5lb for a cot is ultralight.
