Swimming in the Early Ocean of Mars

    At first glance we thought that there is not a bit of water on Mars, but when we took a better look not only did we discovered water, but we also gathered evidence that there likely were oceans, rivers and lakes flowing on Mars. So what would swimming in one of these martian waters feel like? Watch the video to find out.

      @worfoz 7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @ Najimbu:
      My thoughts, we have life and therefore we can't have immortality. There's no life without death, that wouldn't be possible. You're either alive, which means you were born once and so you will die some day, or you're not. Between birth and death you exist as a living organism.
      We are made of dead stars, in a universe allegedly born in the Big Bang. Without previous generations on stars biochemistry would be impossible, our Earth wouldn't exist and neither would we.
      We descent from multiple generations of dead ancestors, most of them died because they couldn't survive in an ever changing environment. We've evolved. That's what life does: it always changes, adepts to new circumstances, eliminating what's unfit, shaping new generations that slightly differ, replacing, re-newing.
      Without death there would be no evolution, "we" would still be bacteria, of something even more primitive.
      Or, more likely, we would be dead because we didn't adept.
      Immortality is not a property or organisms, of natural beings. Immortality is a trait of supernatural beings like gods, angels, spirits and such. Their existence is not threatened by immortality because they're not alive.
      Bummer, isn't it? We humans have many desires but my deepest desire is to escape death and time, to go to some heaven after this life and live forever. Of remain here, in the time-space, traveling tot Mars, or maybe to some planet millions of light-years away. And do many things I can't do if my life doesn't last more than a century.
      I wish I could...

    • @AverageAlien
      @AverageAlien 7 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      Kevin Varney I think you read wrong.
      The sun is a middle sized g-type main sequence star. It's a white star with a lifespan of about 10 billion years or less. This means it is already halfway through its lifespan.
      Maybe you read about its death. In about 3 billion years it will expand into a red giant and get hotter, and then turn into a white dwarf. Maybe that's what you read?

    • @KevTheImpaler
      @KevTheImpaler 7 ปีที่แล้ว +13

      I have read in three books that the sun emitted about 30% less heat 4 billion years ago, although I can't find where it said the sun was gradually getting bigger. I think I have read this somewhere, and not just about the red giant stage when the sun runs out of hydrogen.

    • @rachdarastrix5251

      It can be solved with simple logic. Now. Put 3 logs in a pit and set them on fire, wait and see what happens. As you can see after waiting about 5 minuets the fire burning the fuel has caused there to be a 4rth log in the pit. Wait about 5 more minuets and now you have a 5th log caused by the constant burning of fuel. So, if you wait 10 hours you will have a great big bond fire with a huge red flame caused by the continual burning of those logs.
      XD

    I will write about you on Facebook, promise, though it is sad, as said before; so many people are NOT interested in science, space, or even in thinking about possibilities, what could have been, or what could happen. Only crap about criminals doing so-called 'music', reality-tv, and so on.
    You indeed deserved millions of subs! (Oh no, now I am worried! I should have written BILLIONS; I am afraid that some *Murricans* will yell, I did not use a word THEY know!)
    I would love to put your videos on a CD, and watch them all at one time, but I will never do that, you deserve every 'click', of course!

    It's possible we and all life as we know it came from mars

    • @mrther1888
      @mrther1888 7 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      k yk Nope water came from the early bombardment by comets which contained water on earth after a few years of earth being made. Other stuff came from the debris after the sun was made eg. core,crust atmosphere etc

    • @leraj1639
      @leraj1639 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Mr Ther that is true but mars still have a great mystery if there were life on mars. considering the the fact that mars have small doses of liquid water on mars today which leads us to believe mayne we were originally from mars 1st and some of the chemicals of mars was scattered onto earth due to asteroid impacts.

    • @mrther1888
      @mrther1888 7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      That could be true actually because the first forms of life were small molecule like organisms which *COULD* be scattered on earth from the debris that was launched towards earth during the early bombardment. This could be even proved that once Mars had more water than its land. And life as we know came from water the impacts could've delivered some water to earth from Mars which contained those molecule like organisms.

    Sir,
    What if we take plants in a manned mission to Mars?
    Plants. Need Co2 and as there is Co2 in Mars we could achieve getting o2 at mars. Still little bit of oxygen will be required for plants to breathe which is a problem.
    Also a good magneto sphere is required.
