- In an attempt to colonize Mars, 21st century scientists seed the planet with algae to absorb sun light and purify the atmosphere, and cockroaches who in turn spread the algae as they feed. 500 years later, the first manned mission to Mars loses contact with Earth, and a second ship is sent to investigate.

I like how the existence of the bacteria hybrid validates the opinion that Earth could've just sent a biological weapon to mars completely unmanned and just killed all the roaches that way.
The Bugs 2 mission proved that any eggs of roaches would be completely immune to any biological weapons, you’d have to annilhilate 100% of them in one go or it’s useless.

@@tototurbo Because the eggs hatch within like an hour, you’d have to cover the entire planet and every single cave, hiding place, etc.
That’d realistically be impossible, the cockroaches would still be there and they’d multiply back up in no time.

I have seen both sessions of this anime series, in the English Dubbed version, but I forgot the title of it.
I was disappointed that this anime series never got a Third Season made for it, do to how the last episode of the Second Season had ended.
So I strongly feel that this anime show series deserves to get rebooted someday.

Part of the reason it never got a 3rd Season is due to one of the Manga creators being hospitalized at the time it was being made.

@@umisiko The reason why I watch the English dubbed version of anime shows, is because I am not a speed reader, I have seen a few anime shows with subtitles, and I had to constantly pause it each time when the characters were talking, just to keep up with the subtitles that show what they are talking about, and that just frustrated me, and annoyed me.
So I can’t stand any anime shows that only have Japanese Language with English Subtitles, and there for I only watch the English Dubbed version of anime shows.
