I really wish the author of this manga series figured out a way to write the story out of the issue it found itself in. So that way we can get finished anime seasons. Cause it is a really weird plot/story but it’s actually surprisingly really good.

I kinda like this anime. Shows evolution of Roaches and Human and how they merge with other beings to showcase their power. It intrigued me enough to go through the manga which last published a year back. Man what a cliffhanger. 🤦

Yeah, I was pleasantly surprised that they actually had someone with the Mantis Shrimp's genes in the show because it's not very widely known that it has the fastest, most powerful punches in the animal kingdom. I just wish they had given the guy's punches scaled up versions of the other traits the Shrimp's punches have. For example, they are so fast underwater that they create an air cavity that collapses, which causes a small sonic boom/shockwave and is even strong enough to release light. They can also see like *hundreds* of times better than we can due to their beautifully vivid peacock colored compound eyes, which would have been a cool trait for the guy to have had in his transformed form. Aside from bacteria girl, the guy with Mantis Shrimp genes should have easily been one of the top mutant soldiers, seeing as they have genes from the animal with the strongest/fastest punch on Earth (which also has either the best, or close to the best, vision on earth as well. I think Dragonflys eyes *might* be better) .

A leader in the 2nd mars mission was actually a survivor from the 1st mission looking for revenge.
