I hope you and Thundermist lures are doing great! When I first started getting back into fishing 6-7 years ago you were one of the channels I learned a lot from, continue teaching it helps so many!
I literally love your Channel wish I could fish with you one day.. 2 hours away from Niagara Falls so I can definitely meet you... shout outs to Antonio
I saw one of you video useing this jig so I bought two of every size and the first one I try was the 3/4 0unce and was amazing how good they worked for perch ,Nice video Thanks for sharing!
I can't get perch to bite real well on artificial lures, am I doing it wrong? Always end up putting the t turn rig back on and using worms. Any tips would be great. Fishing Idaho waters, 20 ish feet of water. Are my perch just not as active as these deep water perch?
That's because live bait usually works better than artificial no matter who says otherwise. You wouldn't prefer a plastic steak over a real one, would you...lol
@@IcecyOutdoors the idea of live bait is sick. Taking a living creature that science has proved time and time again DOES FEEL PAIN, experiences elevated heart rate, breathing and releases stress hormonal markers in its blood is no different from other creatures. Sticking a hook through it’s body while it frantically attempts to escape only to be eaten alive by another fish is disgusting...and this is coming from a life long fisherman. Show the resource some respect. Stop with the “fish don’t feel pain” non-sense TONS of studies done showing them reacting to pain, avoiding places where they were hurt etc....idiots🤦♂️
@@nickcaesar7650 Well Nick, first of I don't remember saying anything like "Fish doesn't feel pain". You and the science may be right in all other points you made about how a fish would feel/react to being hooked as a bait, I am not going to argue with that. But the fact remains, the predator fish you are trying to catch would prefer a live bait to a plastic in most instances if they are hungry and want to feed. They do hit plastics/lures when they are very active, or as an instinctive reaction, but certainly no one, including fish, would knowingly eat non-food items. 🙂. If we go back to the "fish feeling pain/using bait is disgusting" bit though, you are contradicting yourself by admitting that you are a "life long fisherman". Following your logic you shouldn't be fishing at all, as the fish you catch is also a "living creature" that feels pain/fear, gets exhausted from fighting (it's body builds up deadly lactic acid from stress), damaged from handling, suffocating from being out of water, and if you are a C&R fisherman, some of them also die after you release them. So which one it is Nick?, should you fish or not, since apparently you are not "respecting the resource" either!..... All this non-sense aside, my real opinion on this matter is: Life is cruel but we still have to live and eat. I do fish to eat, I am not a C&R fisherman, although i do selective harvesting. If i didn't eat fish, i wouldn't be fishing just for fun, as that would be causing pain to a "living creature" just for my entertainment, and to me that's unethical. Have a nice day and tightlines 🙄
@@AndrewMcGhie That is interesting.....I previously thought the MNR and DEC had similar or the same regulations for the shared bodies of water such as lake erie / ontario / Niagara river. Good to learn something new....thanks
@@1WilliamsBrian is there a slot size for thr NY side? I used to always purchase my NYS license but I only ever fished for bass on your side so I never looked up walleye sizes. Our zone 19 (erie) not including any exceptions that I might be missing are 6 for sport license and 2 for conservation license. No size mentioned
Man, i wish your episodes were for hours and hours lol have always loved your content...now your lures too...no live bait needed👏👏

What's the keeper size in Ontario? That looked like a short for NY
We have no slot size for zone 19 in Ontario. Usually encourage release of the big females but otherwise theres no actual slot size.

Not a slot size.....anything over 15 inches with a limit of 6. Typically don't keep anything over low 20s unless the fishing is really slow
✌😃
Can you fish saltwater again please
if all goes well, this summer we will be out there :)
Man Ivo you better measure the small ones or the man is gonna have a boston whaler for the auction block.
LOL :) ...no size limit in Ontario 🎣 :)
Regulations can be different on every body of water
