The Yoyo Factory Shutter Yoyo is the signature yoyo of professional yoyo player Gentry Stein. This is a non-responsive yoyo. This means you must be able to bind to get it to wake. Shutter Yoyo Specifications are a Diameter of 55.83 mm, a width of 44.33 mm and weight of 67.5 Grams.

hmm... the horizon has a bit longer spin time and is extremely good for off axis play. but the shutter is better for string trick and also very good for finger grinds, not as good as hor. but still extremely good.
i would probably say shutter unless u love off axis play.

It plays awful to be honest. If you want a great playing wide yoyo try out the Tenyoyo wet whistle. You can get it online at Tenyoyo.com for $80-$100. I personally have one and it's hands down my favorite throws at the moment. (Note that if you try to access the website from a mobile browser it doesn't show the products so use a desktop or request the desktop site on the mobile browser)
