I found out was just the "blast finish" around the bearing seat. All I had to do was buff it with some jeans and that did the trick. Wish I would have known before tho.....the sound of a brand new yoyo hitting the ground......not very pleasant. Good thing is yoyofactory sent a new one :D
ExTremeHYPE its Good for everything. my only problem is that i dont have acces to New pads, so i recomendo you buy some with the shutter. but the shutter is an awesome budget metal to start with.

Hi Dylan, quick question. I got a brand new shutter and it keeps breaking my string. Has this ever happened to you with any yoyo, or have you ever heard of this problem? I am using polyester string.
Specs are really similar to the shark honor n12, to me the shape is similar too except where it tapers off at the center. I dont have a shutter so I can't say but from pics and specs they seem very similar. n12 is wide for me though, waiting on the m003 still. I'm pretty excited about it.

Scott H no but the old anti yos like the eetsit did that. people sanded down the bearing seat lip with high grit sand paper
