I love how you speak!❤️ I'm 15, so any tips about speaking to a crowd or an online presentation? And about expensive yoyos forget it I've been using a wedge for the past year and it's the most expensive yoyo I ever owned 😂
my main issue with yoyoing is you might go through 300-500$ until you find your type of yoyo, its not like you can playtest a bunch of yoyos somewhere to find your yoyo, i went through 8 cheap yoyos just to find my groove, then bought 3 medium priced yoyos, then bought my first expensive yoyo which i ended up not liking then a second expensive one which i used for a year and a half, then got bored of it, sold everything for 80$. It took me over a year just to realize my string was too long, i was thinking why do i perform better at 5a ? then it hit me, its not the 5a, its just when i play 5a the string is the right length because it gets shorter from the different grip.
my trick when it comes to choose a right yoyo from certain brands is to see what most of their team member use. That means it's generally good for most players.
I have lots of expensive name brand yoyo's, including a few hand made for me by SPYY years ago. I also have lots of Aoda and recently MagicYoyo's and both, but mainly the MagicYoyo's are definitely comparable to YYF, YoyoJam, HSPIN, Difeyo, Spyy and others. New technology has made yoyo's that were $100 about 10 yrs ago only cost about $20-30 today. Buying anything more expensive is just personal preference.
My hummingbird and recently Peregrine were my two most expensive yoyos and daayum they feel amazing! As you said they ain't running out of battery and such a pleasure to play with them! Great content ! Would be glad if you do more tuts! P:s : 100%ing breath of the wild is so long you can consider this a hobby on its own ahah
I'm actually really glad you posted this because I have been debating on weather or not to buy the Edge Beyond because of the price difference from what I have already... I have 2 Edge Ultimatums, the Shutter, the Wedge, and the magic yoyo Z01 Focus. This video helped me decide it is worth putting the extra money into a premium yoyo!
I just got into yo-yo-ing, I dropped $125 on the edge 2022 and got a wedge free with my purchase through yoyo factory, I have to say these yoyos are worth it. Very smooth
Value is determined in the mind of the one spending. I have cheap $13 dollar yoyos and I have a couple $300+ Titanium yoyos. It depends on the Throw itself.
Which yoyo is the better of these 2 ? Edge Beyond or Edge Infinity? I'd like to get opinions from people that have both or have used both enough to choose 1
I checked out the video and it definitely helped me decide for sure to go ahead and get the Edge Beyond! I think the weight distribution of just having a bi-metal opposed to mono-metal is good enough... I don't prefer heavier yoyos in general I actually prefer a lil more floaty than heavy. I have an Ultimatum now that I absolutely love to throw and it definitely is more floaty. The only thing I can say I'd change about it is that it's not a bi-metal... But your video definitely helped me make my decision and it's the only video I could even find that compares them so thanks for your help man and keep up the good work!
Yoyoing compared to for example palying musical instruments is lot cheaper. High end yoyos are at simmilar price point to cheapest guitars or keyboards :D In my opinion it's not necessary to buy expensive yoyos. Only one of my 1A yoyos was purchased for full price. Others are B-grades or from lucky box which was half the price of a yoyo. My favourite yoyo for past year is B-grade YYF Marco that was purchased for about 20 dollars. Another one of my favourites is B-grade YYF Horizon which cost about 20 dollars too. It came stock with flat bearing, but I replaced it for 10 ball bearing, which cost less than 10 dollars. And for price of about 30 dollars I have prefectly smooth and premium feeling yoyo. What I'm trying to say is that if you can't afford expensive yoyos, you can buy B-grade product and upgread it to A-grade :D. If you don't have huge budget, I highly reccomend waiting until aMAYzing B-grade sale that YoyoFactory does every year during May and buy something cheaper that you can upgread. Most of B-grades cost about 50% of original price ;)
Once you actually get into yoyoing, $55 doesn't seem like all that much. Now a $700 yoyo, that's crazy and I don't think I will ever get to a point where I want to buy something that expensive.
I completely agree with this video. Wholeheartedly. Let me explain. Expensive yoyos are almost ALWAYS worth it. For example, the Edge is a staple of really good yoyos, and almost everyone that has bought an Edge has been extremely happy with it. You can also compare this amount to the Grasshopper GTX, which is a complete BEAST btw. There are some really good bimetal and metal yoyos that definitely cost what they're worth. (?) But if I had to say 1 yoyo that I probably wouldn't purchase and that's not worth the price point, I'd say the bimetal shutter. Personally, it looks way too heavy and I prefer less heavy yoyos. (With the exception of numerous beasts like the Horizon.) The Edge Beyond AND Infinity are so much more worth IMO than the bimetal shutter. Then again, some people love the bimetal shutter, so this is more of my opinion. But Yeah! Sick video and I'm glad you addressed this.
Hi Lucas, I recently got back into yoyoing and realized that the meta of the shape has gotten wider, should I invest in a meta yoyo when learning tricks of today?
I’d say 50-60 dollars is the most you can spend. You either get ones more expensive bc of a competition or you want to experience more yo-yos. If you are just going for price to performance, than just stick with 50-60.
See, you say yo-yoing is a cheap hobby, but when you’re like me, you have to buy like every third yo-yo you see. Been going around four months and I’m like three hundred+ dollars in 😬
idk why but you're talking video's we're you talk alot are so good like you make it seem smooth I don't know how you do it but I like it lol i laughed in this video a lot
yoyos are definitely worth it for the cost (at least most of the time). I also have a grey controller Nintendo. I thought I was the only one with a grey controller Nintendo.
I think I would not spend 80 dollars plus, you can get a good bimetal for like 70 if you want to get a 50 dollar yoyo get the Invictus I tried it a a yoyo meetup and it just felt natural
I feel like you are yelling a lot in the video. I like the message in the video especially about the video game comparison but maybe not quite as much yelling?
@@LucasDeckerYoYo I agree that showing excitement is a great idea however, there are other ways to show that emotion.
