Is there any steps you have to perform before hand? I saw other channels mentioning something about releasing the pressure but you didn’t comment about it before you took off the sensor?
If it is possible to bleed pressure first yes I would if it is not easily available to depressurize the system wrap a towel or rag around it and crack it open slowly to relieve it I know a lot of people may give me hell for this but we all do it on a busy shop setting not the safest but it wirks
Ive been loosing gas milage for several months and noticed a intermittent misfire for 2 weeks. Then today i get almost home and it just starts running like dog shit haha. Popped the reader on and got p0193 and p0182. Im going to get the pressure sensor first the clear the codes and if it 182 comes back i guess ill have to change the fuel temp sensor also. 2006 ford escape 3.0
It is possible it will it can be a short in the harness the sensor or a vacuum leak I would try the sensor and look for a vac leak first harness short is very unlikely
I have a 2004 escape 3.0 with a P001 error code (fuel volume regulator circuit open). But can't find the component on the vehicle. Any idea where it's located?
Did you clear the code proper with a scan tool or code reader if you do not have one your local auto parts store can do it for free or Amazon ebay have them for a decent price

It is plausible but not probable swap your number 3 plug and coil with cylinder 1 and see if it moves

Is the hose hooked up to it fixable? Mine is corroded 🤦🏼♀️
Yes there is a hose connected to it if I remember correctly it's a thinner rubber

Change the temp sensor while your there I don't believe it's much more money to do so but I know every penny counts these days and we fix as it comes

Yes it can if the value doesn't match what the pcm is expecting it will cause chaos in the system and make it act all sorts of funky

I cleared the code it came back on now. I get 3 codes p0193 p0182 p0183.

Even though i changed the sensor vehicle doesn't run ruff it runs fine but the code p0193 p0182 and p0183 still come up.
