Sir/madam, think before you write something. We should be proud of the selfless Sikh community. They are making our country proud everywhere. We should have more people like them who help others irrespective of caste or religion and less people like u who think dividing india based on religion is fine. The Sikh community from India proudly introduce themselves as Indians even abroad. Pls donot make their efforts trivial with such comments.

Australians in general actually do not know much about Sikhs n many that know they dont hold them in high esteem. Sorry to say. Its actuslly the bad name brought upon themselves by the Sikh students here in Australia.
Jessie the community as a whole is very kind,does charity feeds needy.U just start counting.And charity and help they have it for all.Service is the main foundation of Sikhism.Few bad guys are a blot on any community and larger picture needs to be seen.Please study sikh history their Gurus and u will know about them.
It is beautiful but the thing is I have experienced a systemic haressement by punjabis in my workplace all of them together bolstered by their supervisor who is also a punjabi in Montreal, Canada , they haressed me in the workplace so that I will leave that place. I am not saying everyone is like that, but we shouldn't just append everything to a community, this is student punjabi workers who have no values whatsover.

Just imagine for every minority have been sidelined by the majorities. You might have felt what it's like being a minority. This is where we together need to go beyond labels dictated by color, branding and etc.
As a whole u might have met rough people .All people are not the same.Our Guru advocates kindness,compassion with all.Its unfortunate u had to experience bullying.As a whole Sikhs are nice and if they truly understand Gurus teachings they should be nice,helping,must not hurt anyone for its a sin to trouble a kind noble person in Sikh teachings. Evil bully will experience hell in accordance with spiritual rules . There are variations different upbringings and lot of other kings.Hope u meet nice people ahead.The people who harassed you will have to repent someday.When they will meet God what answer will they have?They will be humiliated here as well as in next world .God is always with kind and just.Hoping u meet nice people in your life.Regards
