My Australian Shepherd was very intrigued by the wolf howl and stood up to reach my computer on the table. He didn't care about the husky howls, but became very concerned over the coyote sounds. We have a lot of coyotes were we are and thankfully both of my dogs return to the porch to come inside the minute the coyotes start sounding off.
Well she responded with interest. Her ears perked up and she cocked her head and leaned into the phone with curiosity. But she never howled. She's the first dog I've ever had that won't howled with me when I'm playing with her either. But she's a good pup. She doesn't watch or listen to TV either. But she loves when you play music or sing to her (even if your voice is bad). She just marches to her own beat.

Third sound is the one my American Bulldog actually responded to, she tilted her head, ears perked, and then she joined in. Her absolute favorite sound to howl to is a firetruck siren, that never fails.
The coyote.....I don't have dogs, but my but the constant barking of my neighbors dogs did. Gave them something to bark and whimper about. They constantly bark growl and charge the fence lines all the time. They shut and ran for their owners' back door, trying to scratch their way into the house. Ahhhh. The peace and quiet. Thank you.

The Burmilla (half Burmese, half Chinchilla Persian who screams like a banshee at 4:00 in my ear) just slept through it. Obviously, the British Shorthair has genes from an area that had wolves! Fascinating!
I have a pitbull mix and he loves to howl with my family. He was more curiously looking around during the wolf and the coyote but he joined in with the huskies lol. I fricken love him!!

Amarok responded to the wolf howl by doing his own howl. Of course I watch NY Wolf Conservation Center and he sits with me and watchs. As he was growing I've noticed that he does alot of the things the wolves were especially laying in the same positions. He has his own unique Husky howl and likes the neighborhood to know that he can howl and he talks I can actually understand him. That surprised me. He'll be 2 years old on October 29, 2023.

My Rottweiler started howling. My first Rottweiler always used to howl when he heard police sirens or any emergency vehicles sirens. I always knew when he was going to howl as when out for a walk he would stop and his ears would move and he would start sniffing the air. He would hear them long before I could. When he started howling we would get some funny looks.

She sounds like a unique mix. I have never thought about a coyote mix but at first I wanted a wolfdog mix but Pa doesn't allow it.
My dog payed close attention, but that was it. He used to howl as a young puppy during crate training so he is capable.
