Emotional intelligence is super important to create trust in teams. I've never heard of RASA. Thank you for sharing it because it helps me be more mindful in conversations
@DavidBurkus I was preparing for Strategic Service Manager's job and I got the job. Should have heard me explaining about staff wellbeing and my concept of being emotionally intelligent and then broke this down into the 4 areas and applied this to moving on from Team Manager managing staff to the new position of managing managers. Thanks
Thank you Does emotional intelligence still call for mental or psychological stability working hand in hand with my confidence too even when I feel down. Please help me out
I'm not sure exactly what you're asking. But if confidence and feeling down are the big issues, you might check out Susan David's work on Emotional Agility.
Indeed. I'd assume personality dimensions also sort of mediate that relationship. But you can definitely see people with less emotional intelligence lean toward a command and control leadership style.

My pleasure. Thanks so much!
Great concept to keep a journal of your emotions and how they affect your decision making. I'll have to give that a try.
Circle back and let me know how it works.
This is the best anyone has broken down and explained the concept of Emotional Intelligence. Thanks David
Glad you found it helpful. Thanks for watching!
