  • We took a portion of the Amtrak Northeast Regional from Wilmington, Delware into New York City. This was my first time in New York City ever! I was very much excited for this trip not only on Amtrak, but into the big city as well. What was our experience like? Come watch and find out what we thought!

Awesome train journey and great review. Love the Amtrak travels. Moynihan Train Hall is awesome, interesting to think that I was just there, we missed each other just a few days. That sucks that you had to sit separately, usually Amtrak finds the way to let families sit together. I've been in Wilmington too, last year. Great travel, take care!

We have a few more Amtrak Travels coming to the channel soon. Lots of Amtrak Stations too every Saturday night. Yeah crazy 2 FL people who know each other just missed each other in NYC. Next time! Yeah when we get separated we meet in the cafe car for a snack and to play some cards. Usually Phase 10 or Five Crowns. Both are good for killing time. Talk soon!

Like 4! You got to take your train to NY! This is a bigger station! You don't have to climb up either like Orlando train. That stinks they don't give you seats together. Bring your own little bottles of alcohol. It was 8 bucks for a 1.99 bottle of rum when we went.

Wait until you see the full New York Amtrak Station Tour video coming later on. We don't drink so no reason for us to bring alcohol. I (Dan) haven't drank in over 14 years!

Definitely a great alternative to the I-95 traffic. Oh BTW I was in Wilmington a few weeks ago and it turns out I ate at a restaurant very near the pee and poo hotel!

That is funny! You were near the hotel from hell! Yes traveling to NYC we will always take the train into town and catch the subway or walk.

Very interesting trip , Do you happen to know if these trains run on one track back and forth or are the designated a track or even if they have a area that they exchange tracks ??

In a lot of the south there is one track with several exchange tracks so trains can pass each other by. Freight trains have the right of way on these tracks shared with Amtrak. Once you get further north there are TONS of lines all running parallel to each other.
