If you wear an eyepatch all day, you'll have great night vision in that eye in the dark. Just have a reason to be in the dark for an excuse, like boating for instance. Apparently that's why most old time pirates wore them, not so much because of an eye issue.

Rumor has it Justin Roiland wants to do more jokes and episodes like this one, and Dan Harmon wants to focus more on the story and the relationships between the characters. That's why you'll see an episode like this and then out of nowhere get an episode focused around The Citadel and the whole "Evil Morty" plot line. Then not get another one about "Evil Morty" for the rest of the Season. I mean, its also [artly because of their deal with Cartoon Network which has finally been taken care of. But Harmon and Roiland still have those fights. I'm sure it's all good between them. Like two Brothers or something fighting.
I feel like it should be 1 episode for each Like episode 1 is written by Dan and episode 2 is written by Justin and just continue the pattern, but the last episode must be written by Dan
