I was married for 20 years. I’m divorced for 12 years now. If I had seen a teaching like this before when my husband asked for a divorce , I’d have had him to watch this with me.
As a married man with little money, my wife and I had a marriage in a courthouse in front of a judge and 2 witnesses. It has never felt right and I know my wife wants a real wedding one day. This was one week before Covid locked down the country. It would be several more months before I came to start knowing Christ. I use to suffer from anxiety and irrational social fear before Jesus took them away. I honestly haven’t thought much of having that real wedding that my wife wants. Neither one of us has talked about it in quite some time. This video has changed my entire perspective of the importance of marriage. Thank you.
Excuse me but this can become convaluded really fast. Two things.. My siblings and I aren't one. We're just siblings. That's nowhere in the Word of God that you and your siblings are one. My spouse and I ARE one. My brother passed away a few years back. He is STILL my brother. The same way if a child is murdered through abortion, that is still your child. Once you're married and one of you passes away, then you are no longer married. The Bible never ever said you're no longer siblings if one dies. You are not your sisters or your brothers spouse. I get what you were trying to saying though and do agree that God can look at my spouse and I as siblings. That's fine. But my actual sibling born of a parent or parents, are not my spouse.
