    Update I made this and use water instead and boy my husband was so shocked said it was better then his moms 😭💜 thanks Matthew

    The recipe might be Dominican, but rabo encendido is a Cuban dish.

      No rabón is eaten all over the world not just Cuba

    I did everything as instructed and my sauce wasn't as thick. I did also use a stainless steel pot.

      that's okay maybe my oven is just stronger than yours or something. if your sauce was too thin, I'd just cook it on the stove longer until it thins down more. you also could add a bit more tomato paste or a cornstarch slurry. :)

      @@matthewfrancisj you can also add potato's. when they're fully cooked you can break them up a little and it will thicken your sauce
