Micheal Jackson started performing professionally when he was very young. He simply could do it all. His vocals, dancing and showmanship were among the best we have ever seen. A really great Rock star.
Don't get me wrong, MJ was great, one of the best, but "could do it all"....that's a bit of a stretch! Yes, vocals, dancing, showmanship and a certain amount of composing too (he didn't write all his songs, but did compose some of his best), yes, excellent....but that's where it stops. He wasn't a musician, or a producer, or engineer etc. There are a number of brilliant artists that were all those things too.
