    MJ is a once in a lifetime talent! I had the chance to see him live 5x in concert- 2x on the Victory tour and 3x on the Bad tour. Tickets were $25! My wife also won the MTV Dinner with Michael contest. And words fail me when I try to explain MJs presence when you are 3 feet away from him. He was not of our planet! RIP MJ!

    Micheal Jackson started performing professionally when he was very young. He simply could do it all. His vocals, dancing and showmanship were among the best we have ever seen. A really great Rock star.

    • @Mindflux_Zubzub
      @Mindflux_Zubzub หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Don't get me wrong, MJ was great, one of the best, but "could do it all"....that's a bit of a stretch! Yes, vocals, dancing, showmanship and a certain amount of composing too (he didn't write all his songs, but did compose some of his best), yes, excellent....but that's where it stops. He wasn't a musician, or a producer, or engineer etc. There are a number of brilliant artists that were all those things too. And POP Star is a more fitting title - he did do some rock, but that was hardly his overall style...he's much more pop, r'n'b and soul.

      @@Mindflux_Zubzubman stop the cap. MJ literally won a grammy for "producer of the year" for his songs on thriller. MJ was an excellent producer who co produced his songs. MJ wrote MOST of his songs and he wrote his biggest hits. MJ was a great composer too. He was inducted into the songwriters hall of fame as one of the most successful songwriters of all time. Oh and guess what? He's credited for playing a few music instruments too like the piano and drums. He just preferred to dance on stage. So yeah, he could do it all indeed

    • @Mindflux_Zubzub
      @Mindflux_Zubzub หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@for-house-stark I acknowledged that he composed and that he wrote some of his best stuff. BUT, he didn't self-produce ANY of his tracks or albums - an artist that can self-produce usually does and won't invite an army of other producers. If you are educated in music, Quincy's production style is profoundly evident - you can't say that about Michael's "production style", which means it was likely a demanded title, rather than one actually earned. It is well known that QJ and MJ fell out over making Thriller because MJ spent most of his time practicing his dance moves, rather than producing. There is virtually NO footage of MJ playing instruments and those who worked with him say he used to sing what he wanted from musicians, rather than show them. Again, an artist and certainly a musician will usually employ their gift and display it - MJ's gifts were vocal and dancing, hence that's what he did.

    The woman in the video is model Lisa Dean, Michael said in the ebony jet interview 1987 that it's about groupies those girls who do way too much backstage to try to get them and stuff, I don't know if you only do music or are open to interviews if so you should react to it ❤ he never slept with them in fact he dispised them lol he saw his older brothers sleep with them growing up in the Jackson 5 and he wasn't into that at all, it might be in his book but Michael said once he liked women who had class, who were classy like him and not those who were too aggressive or provocative, he hated vulgarity and was shy haha, unlike his brothers, oh it actually remind me, on a private tape he talked about one time when one of his ex girlfriends held his hand and he said it was so magical and better than anything, and then he said "but young people today don't care about the simple things" aww so sweet, I mean he isn't wrong though, and I love how energetic and full of power he was while on stage, it's certainly a contrast when you watch him in interviews and stuff, he appears very shy and calm, but he had been doing it since 5 so I can understand how it became an automatic thing, he often said he felt more comfortable and free on stage than anywhere else, and you can see it! Anyway this was a great reaction ❤

      That’s so sweet. Any concert of his was a life changing experience. It truly changed my life. I’m glad you can see it on video at least.

    Great reaction. I saw Michael twice live up close during the History Tour in Prague (almost 130.000 people!) and in Leipzig. 🤗
    Unfortunately there I passed out three songs before show ending.
    Quite annoying, but I am so happy and grateful for the opportunity to have experienced him live.

    i always find it weird to call mj the king of pop considering how many genres he has sang in, this one is my personal favourite of his

    My fave is "The Way You Make Me Feel". Also, "Scream" is a banger with MJ and his sister Janet

    GREAT reaction Steven!! My #1 track off of Bad - no question! This is brinking on metal (or as close as MJ got to it) - he's off the chain, and that guitarist is going ballistic. Such a nasty, sexy, dirty and awesome track! My sister got this cassette in '87, I was 9 years old, and instantly fell in love with the whole album.
    RIP MJ! Cheers from Canada, eh!

    Michael Jackson did not have a genre.
    Maybe you didn’t hear him on country music stations but basically everywhere else every station played Michael Jackson

      Great video. 👍🏼 Rhythm, timing, performance, vocals showmanship, Anyone who knows music knows he's not of this earth. There are great dancers. Great singers. Great performers. But he was the dance. He was the vocal, he was the performance. No separation. He was one with it all. nobody in the same stratosphere.

      Also the injection of aggression early in semtemce lyrics followed by gentle subtlety towards the end of each is beyond genius.

    The King of Pop was limited for him. His music was very versatile. He had rock, R&B, disco, etc. Listen to Give In To Me too, Slash played guitar on it. I mean, MJ collaborated with Van Halen, Steve Stevens and Slash. Also with Carlos Santana.
