I love reading the comments because I thought I was the only one completely and totally obsessed with Norm. I've seen all of these a million times and I'm for sure gonna watch it a million times more. And still crack up every time..... My dream is to one day perfectly deliver one of his stories about his uncles at a party or something

Ditto. Memory training goes a long way in replicating cadence and delivery. Norm is a true professional, and I fear we may never see another comedian operating beyond the limits in our lifetime. Political correctness destroyed comedy.

He was funny but intelligently funny, not a lot of ridiculing people or insults from what I remember. I was just so thrilled to be in the same room as NORM & seeing him in person after being a fan since I was 13 or so? 😊 It felt like an honor to be able to see somebody live that I'd watched on my VCR tapes after recording SNL when I wasn't allowed to stay up that late. 😉

It was funny because he had the balls to do that, funny because some people felt bad for him, funny because bob saget understood what he was doing haha

Some of these comment sections are really like grief support groups now and it's (mostly) pretty fucking cool. He has a particular kind of admirer. You either get him or can't stand him, with little middle ground. He's among a tiny handful of comedians I've always periodically binged on, but now these captured moments are more compelling than ever. I literally can't stop watching them, thinking about them, and tryna figure out what makes him tick. It doesn't help that everyone (esp Coco) has been dropping new ones by the trainload.
I don't recall ever being this enthralled with a personality. He's just an unreasonably interesting mfer. Catches you completely off guard on or off stage. So much to unpack with the man. The careful observer can infer Norm's depth pretty well from his persona, but in candid moments it's quite blatant and even startling.
