Would this intent code help empty pivots, or make them harder to hit? Usually with an empty pivot you quickly flick and release the stick. Not sure when he said velocity if that would always make it come out as a dash, thus making empty pivots very hard to do.
To set up a doraki walljump you have to drop from ledge and regrab ledge while hugging the wall of the stage by holding in, it's a specific setup and people who are regrabbing the ledge and are preparing to ledgedash with back can avoid setting up a doraki by simply not hugging the wall when they jump back to the ledge. Another thing to mention is that the only legal stage doraki walljump works on is FD.
That's why we use the same tilt intent check as dashback. If your stick movement is slow enough to consistently avoid an accidental doraki on vanilla, you won't get a doraki on 1.03 either.
I feel like considering Nintendo's recent potential involvement in the scene through Panda will make shit like this less practical given their anti-mod policy, and if the scene were to get accustomed to these features their muscle memory would be bad for events that have Nintendo involvement. I like the ideas being brought forward, but I don't see implementation until at least the Panda circuit comes to a close.
hax, I do support that you're finally streaming now, but why the shift in attitude, before in a previous video you did say you didn't stream because you felt guilty of the money you get from doing so? What changed your view on that
his stream is pretty chill he doesnt ask for subs at all and doesnt have dumb subgoals. his stream is literally just recordings of him playing with no mic or cam because ppl want to see hax play, especially now. The stream is definitely not a money grab and more just so his fans can watch him play again.
Man literally just wants Melee to be an even playing field, with a consistent and accessible input experience. Thank you Hax
Well said!
I could listen to Hax talk about the 1.03 memory card, 1.0 cardinal and dash out of crouch all day.
I never played any smash game, but for some reason they are so interesting to me
Hax needs a job reading audio books
He literally does

Pivots are unaffected by 1.03 and UCF. Only dashback from a standstill is modified.
Awesome! Thanks Hax$
Doraki? Door-a-key.
praying for you hax
Very well done video
time to play falcon
Maybe I'm not understanding but won't this effect people that use back for ledge dashing?

I finally learned why it doesn't work for me. Just gotta hit back faster and not get polled into a black hole.
MOST FUN
I saw the google drive but there's no GCI files, looking forward to testing it on slippi

And it doesn’t buff falcon also the top foxes can doraki jump for breakfast this just makes it easier for the layman
