Worked for me!! Was told by Samsung support to do a factory reset to correct an issue with Samsung Pay, only to encounter black screen boot up failure. Samsung support suggested several things (hold power whilst charging etc.), none worked then they said I would need to return the watch for repair. Thought I'd try a quick search and this fixed it immediately - thanks so much!!

My watch got wet and I took it off to dry it. The rebooting came on the screen and now I have a black screen. I did all of your steps several time and I ended up resetting. Now it will not come on or respond. I'll keep trying but I feel it's doomed :-(

Hey man. It worked. Battery was flat, I charged it over night. On the charger it said 100% but totally unresponsive. I was pessimistic however your second tip, tap the buttons wildly then hold and the logo appeared and I'm not back up and running. Thanks a bunch, you've saved my morning.

I actually had a jammed power button and after not feeling the button respond I pressed my lips to the watch button and blew super hard (think old school Nintendo) and after a few times the button became unstuck and the reboot worked! Thanks so much for the help

I said let me TH-cam this and your videos amongst others popped up. Thank goodness i clicked on your video. I worked for my while holding down each button. I have never replaced this watch only the charger and still in great condition is said well maybe he's done his job. Thank goodness I troubleshoot TH-cam on how to fix. Thank you once again. My watch is probably old as this video or older by a yr or two. Phone replaced but not the watch. LOL. Sorry for the Long message, just excited. 😊

OMG your awesome I changed the battery not sure if the other battery was the issue or not but. It stopped working I wasn't going to give up on it cost to much money, as soon as you said to hard reset it it showed booting and now charging!!! Thanks so much..

Same happened to mine,black screen,charged % # when charging,the watch would connect to the phone but with a black screen.No button pressing combination worked.One day while working on my generator it occurred to me to put the watch in the magnetic bowl i use to hold the bolts,i left it for one day ( make sure is fully charged) .When i went to check it was in the demo mode ,i went to all the tutorials and it came back to life.Try it ,nothing to loose.
