The day EH Taylor is a shelfer and I can purchase anytime. The bourbon gods will have answered my prayers.
The last time I spotted any E H Taylor product on a store shelf at retail price was back in early 2019.
I've considered picking up a small new oak barrel and filling it with some Benchmark Full Proof.
I bet one or two summers of TX heat could do some very nice things to it.
I hear those small barrels can impart too much oak but those spirals that you can drop in the bottle do wonders for Benchmark Fill Proof. But just what I hear.
Definitely on my list to find one day! Love the video!

Huge Taylor BP is by far one of my favorites. Unfortunately, I’ve only been able to get them on secondary. But they’re that dang good!

I had several pours of different high end bourbons the last time I was in Kentucky. I’ve never had a better pour than the eh Taylor Bp. The pappys, stagg, willet purple tops, and wellers, were all lesser pours. The batch I tried was batch 10.
Love the EHT flavor profile.
I enjoy learning more about spirits, especially ones like Taylor because I haven’t tried them yet, but I keep coming back to this channel because of all the positivity

I was fortunate enough to sip on some Barrel Proof Batch 5 the other night. I can easily see why these rank up there on the scale of 100, I would put batch 5 at about 95 for my palate.

I haven't seen that bottle cheaper than $500 near me. I have had a try at a bar and really liked it. I typically can get the small batch BIB for around $100ish. Anyway good review and I am really enjoying the Prideful Goat 8 year cask strength. It's a carmel candy with a little mint and spice. Really nice.

EH Taylor Barrel Proof is among my favorite pours period. I have a number of different batches and love them all for different reasons, eventually I would love to collect at least one of every batch to try them all!

I was able to go to the buffalo trace bottled in bod day EH Taylor event yesterday! I was able to get small batch and single barrel! I was also able to taste all 3 of the EH Taylor products as well (no rye) EH Taylor is my favorite of the buffalo trace lineup. Barrel Proof is so good

Love the Small Batch and Single Barrel, haven’t tried Barrel Proof but nut a high proof fan.
The other note I tend to get on the Taylor bottles is cotton candy. The only BT product I get that on is the BM bonded.
EHTBP is easily in my top 5 of all times. I can relate
EHT Single Barrel is one of my favorites. I need to try out the Barrel Proof some time.
Wife and I were at BT today and was hoping it was an EHT day in the gift shop but had to settle for Weller Special reserve

Had a 2oz pour of EHT, single barrell with a late lunch today for $14. Wish I could find a bottle near SRP.

I finally got a bottle of EH Taylor BP. It was the last bottle sitting on the shelf. Paid about $140. Would love to find it for $80, but I don't think that is happening.
If I had the chance to buy 100 bottles at $140 I would!

My brother let me have a sample of his EHT BP and to this day is still one of the best samples I’ve ever had! They do some dang good whiskey🤌🏻

I’ve only had the small batch. Unfortunately all the other EHT around me are way overpriced and difficult to find.

I've been able to have a pour of EHT BP twice at restaurants. Never seen a bottle of it outside of those.
Would be interested to try the EHT Rye. EHT Single Barrel is what got me into whiskey.
EH Taylor small batch is a great pour.
Found one in NY for $149 - felt ok with the price!

EH Taylor is still one I haven’t tried a whole lot of. Curious about the Straight Rye.
Love EHT... unfortunately only small batch is ever available and at a premium. Good stuff
EHTBP, sans Batch 9, doesn’t really have a long viscus finish. Most batches drink light and under its proof. That said it is really good, maybe more refined. Just don’t expect a barrel char proof punch like an ECBP or a STJ.
EHTBP is one of my favorites for sure!

@@BourbonRealTalk I finally received in the mail last week my Prideful Goat 6yr and Rum finished! I really enjoy the Sagamore Rum finish and other rye’s that they have. Your Rum finish is really a nice pour! The 6yr is in my top rye’s to date! It’s really an excellent pour!! Cheers!

I recently saw a barrel proof at a local liquor store in my area and they wanted 399. I just can’t bite that bullet.
I know that when I have discussed purchasing fun whiskeys.
I would love to get a bottle of EH Taylor barrel proof but I can't find one at SRP or close to SRP.
